  • remix??? only faggot wiggers do remixes. its called a cover and its a shitty one at best. good vid and audio quality, just a piss poor performance

  • @phishintube nice language, you're clearly an idiot. This guy is amazing.

  • very interesting vocals, wow!

  • He's SOO EFFING GOOD!!!!

  • Been in to Martin tunes for years now and he never stops amazing me with the display of his influances, aka covers, the only one who does equally good and equally numerous covers as MS is Gov't Mule.

  • hot damn he sounds GOOD on Hendrix songs!!

  • Can I speak for all of us when I say Fuvking Wow! Martin is the freakin man. Try to deny it if you will and make a fool of yourself. The most under-rated accomplished preformer of his day.

  • veryveryveryvery nice

    Jimmy is proud

  • wow...martin went RIGHT from this show to play an encore with keller. it was awesome to see two old friends share a stage again.

  • Both Keller's show and Martins show from that night are available for download at archivedotorg. search the 'live music archive'. Both recordings sound great.

  • what a you tuned down a half step????

  • always a half-step down. helps get that low end bass tone. Dont know if he'll tune the same w/ a full band. Spring tour will be very exciting to see.

  • Yeah- sexton usually is down a half a step for the stuff I've heard of him . . but then again, this song is originally tuned down a half step anyway. I mean, Hendrix- come on . . . never in standard tuning.

  • Hm. Actually that's not true. Hendrix played in EADGBE most of the time. Granted, his fingerboard abuse took his strat out of tune often--is that what you meant?

  • no hendrix definitley played in eflat

  • @livinlife245

You have to remember that is an OLD SCHOOL recording. Back in the day where, if they didn't like the tempo of a song, they'd just jack it up or down. That changed the pitch of the song as well. That's why a lot of songs from back then would seem like they're out of tune. This also happened with a lot of old Motown tracks. It can make the learning process quite a bit more difficult.
