I still remember once on a Combs episode, think it was 92 or 93, when one of the answers were revealed, instead of the clang noise, we heard the strike buzzer as the answer turned.

I saw one they had to toss the answer because the buzzer didn't work.

I know there was at least one episode where the number 1 answer didnt fiip over and they had to manually turn it...

LOL this is too funny.....I liked how the guy kicked it. I thought that it would really break with all of them pounding on it. I wonder if they had problems witht the survery board (ie; wouldn't spin, results wouldn't flip over)
