  • Great to see zero impact on enviroment, Healthy animals, Healthy enviroment, Food. I hope next generation come up many organic dairy farms. Secure food and enviroment.

  • So good to come to Youtube and see like minds spreading the good news about doing things naturally be it gardening or having a dairy farm. I hope others see this and other videos and are inspired to take action and post what they're doing to get back to nature. Just a short, few minutes video could inspire many.

    Thanks for sharing.

    God Bless

  • what do you guys do with the calves???

    and I want an answer

  • Good video. The Milkman is Back!

Milkman distribution can help farming and it does.

  • organic cows works.

  • Still, you have to kill their babies in order to produce milk! And don't see the humane thing here, cows are emotionally programmed to take care of thier offspring, and farmers take them away, kill them, and then steal the milk. This way is better than it's alternative, sure. But the best thing would be to stop drinking milk altogheter, or at least share it with the calfs.

  • @kullisnuffsen exactly, I couldn't agree more with you.

You seem to be someone with a head on their shoulders...Honestly, most people would see this footage & think things like "oh, they are fine, they look happy"...

It's more humane compared to most farms however this is the nice, bright, covered up & shiny version of the reality...

These cows are grieving a loss of their many babies (Bobbys) who were stolen put to slaughter...

It's the saddest thing in the world happening to date.

  • @kullisnuffsen says who ? i am sure the guy doesn t "kill" the little ones ! I have a dairy farm, i don t "kill" them ! i actually take great pride into taking care of those little monsters, they re like puppies, after a while they just follow me around : ) . I ll have to make a video and post it !

  • @zozolelapin That's great that they get to live their whole life as they should, walking around with their mothers. You should make a video, sounds cute. Maybe follow one of them their entire, wonderful life? So it doesnt get killed.

  • lol! george seaman...

  • if your using rain or tap water to water your farm than you still have chemicals in your food from the chemtrails and flouride. To have true organic food it must NOT be exposed to the outdoors and a water system totally seperate that ionize the water. • I sometimes buy organic milk but it's pricey.

I've been reading comments by animal liberationists and wonder what they're thinking. If there was no beef or dairy industry we'd be meeting uncastrated bulls around every street corner.

  • Benefits of Organic Milk...not just for the consumer, but also for the farmer.

  • this is so refreshing and it makes me glad to know that places like this still exist in a society that is obsessed with mass production/distribution/consumption. KEEP IT UP!

  • I will never buy conventional milk again. I haven't for years anyway.

  • These Cows look very tired and can barely walk their udders are too large! What is the wonderful part of Organics? My question would be this, how are these cows kept to lactate? are they artificially imprenated? becuase if they are, then its not Organic! Also, are the calfs after birth sold to veal farmers for meat? this also fundimental question, moral questions! Then after the cow can no longer give their milk are t hey sent to slaughter houses for to be made into meat? Wow what a life! Slaves

  • Do you work for Monsanto or what?

  • 1. thats life. if a cow cant lactate then they MUST go to slaughter. god gaves of cows to produce milk. and if they dont or they cant there gone!

    2. ur pretty smart cause u know a lot!

  • @houseofisraelmusic

they are food products for humans. get over it or dont eat beef products. clown.

  • I dont eat cow or any animals products, If i had a farm, and raised my own cow, then i would consider different lifestyle perhaps drinking their milk But today the way things are done just aint Kosher, or humaine, there is nothing funny about that, Artificially impregnating an animal is rape. its not natural. End of story

  • @houseofisraelmusic Hello, Thank you for not eating dairy products. I would love to have my own cow, too, because even in some organic farms they separate the babies from the mothers and it causes the mothers to scream in pain for their babies, it's extremely cruel. And it's also cruel for the babies because the separation is very traumatic for them. I would leave mother and calf together and never separate them.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest I grew up on a farm and if the farmers do not separate the babies from the mothers the babies will get very sick and die, the mothers produce too much milk because they have been breed to be big milk producers kind a like the broiler chicken that grows huge breasts.

  • @sweetangel6262 It's the opposite. The calves get sick and die when they are separated from their mothers. Cows are mammals like humans, they feel the same feelings, have mother instincts, pure love for their babies. The mothers cry in despair and terror when their babies are taken away from them. I have visited farms several times and saw it for myself. The calves are terrified being alone in those tiny cages where they can't even look out. It causes extreme stress on their immune systems.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest actually if that were true then all calves would be dieing and the farmers would have no cows. The cows do get sad but it is part of farming. You should not eat any meat and dairy products if you disagree with it.

  • @arablover89 Large farming is all about money and nothing else. If loving kindness was involved with farming then they would not tolerate mothers screaming for their babies. This is unbearable cruelty. I deeply wish for new animal rights laws implemented which protect cow mothers and their calves from being separated. We made progress in several states regarding more space for the animals. But that is not enough for their well being yet. We don't have to do cruel farming. We can do better.

  • @arablover89 The calves' immune function is compromised when they are under stress. I have seen them, I have petted them, they cling to me in despair, because they are so lonely and frightened. A new born or young animal including human baby needs her mother desperately. This does not need to be scientifically proven. Just walk up to a confined baby cow and look at him, let yourself acknowledge his emotional pain. Let's not ignore this issue just so we can take all of the milk for our profit.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest Totally!!!

...Honestly, most people would see this footage & think things like "oh, they are fine, they look happy"...

It's more humane compared to most farms however this is the nice, bright, covered up & shiny version of the reality...

These cows are grieving a loss of their many babies (Bobbys) who were stolen put to slaughter...

It's the saddest thing in the world happening to date.

  • @DavinaFaerie Thank you for caring, good to see someone who is kindhearted.

  • @NicolaRedwooddforest u to, I wish the whole world was like you. unfortunately they aren't... :0/

  • @houseofisraelmusic Part 2: You mentioned Kosher. Are you aware that Kosher meat is produced through bleeding the animal alive? This is severe cruelty. Please look it up on Google. Don't support Kosher food. I told my friends from Israel about it and they did not believe me, but it's true.

  • love organic food ads, and videos, would love employment just watching ads, and also videos, this is very good video very clear, crisp, learn alot from this video, keep up good work,

  • Your a fucking lesbian so don't even say ^ shit here.

  • Growing organic food for consumption is a ineffective way of producing crops.

Dairy farming is only one aspect of agricultural.

Why would you not use new scientific technologies for good use.

It is an industrial process when you are feeding millions of people.

You could never feed the world with organics with the loss in crop yields organic farmers see

  • so, do u work for monsanto full or part time?

  • seriously?

negative energy? do you know how the planet and ecosystem even works?

ok lets go with your "neg energy" plan and say its bad for humanity. wouldnt there be like the Chernoble of negative energy if all animals roamed without protection from the elements and had to forage for themselves? think about it. its like when martha stewart went to jail. everything she needed and it was free. and "Humanity" isnt at stake. these arent human.

  • Martha Stewart example was dumm. Anyway I don't wanna waste my time arguing with u, cause ur statements are way off the track.

Tell exactly wat is done in ur farms. Only then discussion makes sense.

  • I have dairy cattle, i have goats (meat, dairy, and show purposes) as well as meat and show purpose hogs and about 7 head of horses. theyre always happy to see me and none of them ever act sad. why? they're not treated bad.

and martha stewart does make sense because you make the case that they are upset when they are confined yet are still provided with necessities. martha stewart complained because shes known better days. animals dont have progression, technology or the intelligence to reason.

  • caseykillsbadguys

They may not synthesize experiences the same as the humans, but are self aware, have emotions, experience pain. Dairy is one of the worse in terms of cruelty, regardless how organic it is. Raising animals organically is not synonymous with being treated kindly. Milk =lactating cows= offspring that for the most part are discarded at birth or worse raised as veal where they are unable to be behave normal or even develop a rumen. They are sick calves, ALWAYS, no exception.

  • wait, do you own a dairy/live on a dairy/work at dairy/ever even seen a dairy?

Or have you only seen what PETA and YouTube has to offer, with the occasional sighting at your local state fair?

If you can prove to me that my cattle are unhappy and don't love their life, I won't dog you, but i'm guessing you're just another city bitch who thinks they know everything biased off of political propoganda. because I care for them, I know FIRST-HAND how these animals are treated and feel.

    Do you?

  • caseykillsbadguys

Why is it that anyone like you automatically assumes that anyone with a negative things to say about the dairy industry, has no working knowledge of that industry? I have never been to a state fair as I am a Western Canadian that lives in ranch country. I do see a cow now and then. If you care to debate with me or are truly interested in my thoughts on the topic, contact me privately, otherwise, you know what to do. BTW, love your handle .... appropriately contains "KILL".

  • dont take my name out of context. I kill bad guys.

like the people who are dumbasses and try to tell me that people who arent organic or who own farm animals are already evil and/or destructive to their overall well-being by saying they'd be better off in the wild.

How many people own dogs, cats, or birds?

  • First, I doubt you kill anyone. Domestic livestock is not better off in the wild; they generally do not cope well. Besides, ownership is not the issue. It is inhumane way livestock is typically raised AND slaughtered. The day to day abuse is horrific and morally abhorrent.

From your description, you have a small hobby farm. It's not the same as big agribusiness where most of the abuse goes on. Having said that, I have seen livestock abused on small farms as well.

  • my animals that are "for hobby" put me through college, *no student loans*. I have killed animals both on my farm and off my farm. I don't deny that farm animals do get abused, but so do domesticated animals. People try to glorify organic and say "it's for the better" when in actuality, they know nothing other than whats been forcefed to them by the media--not first hand. and again, i seriously question that you know how the "typical" farm animal is raised and slaughtered. I eat my own.

  • Lagolop, you are so poorly informed. Offspring discarded at birth, ALWAYS sick calves, where do you get this crap from??? All of our bull calves are raised for beef, and the heifer calves are raised to move into the barn for milikng when they reach maturity. As far as sick calves, I would beg to differ on that one. We RARELY have a sick calf. So, before you start with your propaganda, you better do some better research.

  • OMFG, are you mentally handicapped? You can't believe everything you read on the internet. If you want to know how cows are raised and treated, go to a freaking farm! I understand you are concerned for the safety and health of the animals, but do some research before getting self-righteous.

  • 10053

First of all, you are being a rude prick. Next, what makes you think I know nothing about cattle, nor have never been on a fucking farm? No, I was not raised on a shitty dairy farm but I do know a thing or two about beef cattle. It's not a tremendous leap to understand a dairy cow, even though raising beef on a cow/calf ranch is not the same as having a dairy.

  • i live pn a dairy farm.! ur right!

  • good stuff, all true. you're up against blind faith. keep it up. science is'nt evil

  • I wish I could be an organic farmer when I grow up...

  • the true is farmer is the most honorable trade in the world, always.

  • are cows supposed to look so anorexic?

  • yup, they are lean, mean, milking machines!

  • what the hell are you talking about, organic farming is small farming. you don't make any sense at all.

that might be the dumbest comment i've ever read.

  • me a moron? hahaha you're funny.

my reasons for thinking organic is stupid:

    1) it has been proven many times, many places, that genetic engineering and hormone treatments in plants and animals is safe for human consumption. when you can improve food quality without decreasing safety you have a plus.

    2) organic farming is safe but takes up to 40% more land and 27% more water to yield the same amount of food product that traditional farming and genetic and similar farming practices can do

  • I am fully aware that organic farming goes on on the small scale. corporate farms make up a mere 2% of all american farms as opposed to 11% being partnership farms and 87% being small family owned farms, such as the one that I live on.

also when you take into consideration that Urban Sprawl is taking place at a VERY rapid rate, where will we find these extra resources to keep this unneccesary and inefficient farming practice up? all I can say is who wants further rising food prices? not me.

  • Casey -

I love hearing everyone's ideas and it is great to be able to share here -- it is unfortunate that you take such a harsh approach to espousing your opinion. It may server you and your ideas well if you could express yourself with more grace and respect.

  • 100% right

  • there is a 2000 cow organic dairy in Colorado.

  • Great job to the people who made this video and the farmer!!!

  • I would drink that milk - just wish we could build the market to make it cheaper.

  • I like cows way better !!! I love all those long pokey nipples and when they orgasm that loud moo they holler out is so much better than any noise i have heard from a woman.I love a good milker better than any old nag horse..and dont say that is "udderly ridiculous".

  • BEAUTIFUL! The rights of an animal and the business of a farmer at harmony!

  • amazing!! keep this happening!

  • Great video. This is just the thing eco everywhere tries to educate people about.

Check out our youtube page to get the link to our website.

  • That was great, we just made some organic ice cream, tasty!

  • Watch a new film on natural healing foodmatters[dot]tv

  • Some ones on their high horse.. I do agree anti-biotic raised milk is bad. But after millenniums of domestication, due to us I know, They can not survive in the wild they would be hunted down and killed easily by wild animals.

  • I love veal. It tastes great. When the baby cow is tied to one spot it's easier to fuck its shitpipe. In fact, it seems that the more man mayo I shoot up its rectum, the better the veal tastes. Does that make me gay? Because that would be sick!

  • where do you live?

    idiotville?

milk cows do not stay tied up their whole lives, because if the cow isnt happy then they simply don't produce. much like chickens who are scared take over 24 hours longer to produce a single egg, a unhappy cow takes much longer to produce the same. its profitably smarter to have happy cows so im not sure why you believe that these cows are so upset. not to mention they get free protection, and easy access to food at no real effort to themselves.

  • I don't know Idiot,,, they just look too overfilled and it seems that they are having difficulty walking. Try to look that with ur idiotic eyes. What kind of eyes do u have? Moron eyes?

  • no i have eyes that have actually seen it in person every day since i was 3. that makes for an entire lifetime as opposed to you who probably saw all of your dumb "animals get it so bad" from a cut and paste PETA video about why you should only buy free-range eggs while you're at it too.

  • I wonder who working for the chem labs here? not thx 4 the vid

  • Toly6 I assume you do not have spell check. you do not know what you are talking about. happy cows make better cheese have you not seen the ads.

  • dear mr. TOLY6, i agree, farming is hard work, i have done some in my life, but organic is healthier, its common sence. i also believe that change cant happen over night without severe consequences, but give it time and hopefully we move towards the direction of organic. also, the using human shit to fertilze crops in other countries comment, yes, circle of life, thats the earth and life as we know it. what in the hell do you think dirt consists of, roses!?!?

  • what a crazy idea!

  • nice video. only idiot person doesn't like organic. you should study more

  • I truly how you die of stomach cancer from eating Burger King. This is the only way we will enjoy real milk.

  • You are totally and utterly full of shit with your ignorant dumb ass comment.

  • yes great vid!

  • Great video, yet I would like to hear about how the calcium is being replaced in the fields once the cows take it off the pasture in he milk. Is the farmer mineral amending his pastures. Want to encourage any who see this video and value its message to go to the upcoming ACRES USA conference in Louisville Ky.Dec7,8,9 Its all about agriculture as opposed to agribusiness.........I'll be there.................

  • Congratulation on taking the plunge and going Organic, if only the whole world would! I understood what the term organic farming meant when I realized that it was how my grandparents farmed from 1900 onwards - biologically not chemically.

  • organic...i love u guys and how u show the rest of the world how dumb organic is..lol...i have lived and work on many farms....but what tops it is that in foreign country's they use humen wast as fertlizer....enjoy it...its jsut soem black guys shit..

  • You are an idiot.

  • jamie throup

  • awesome, consume organic!!!!

  • This video only shows half the story, what about the pregnancy cycle? Is it as fast and stressful as conventional dairy farming? What happens to the male calves that are born? Are they stuck in veal crates or killed for pet food?

How long are the dairy cows kept alive before deemed low producers? Do they have longer lives than conventional cows? Are the cows artificially inseminated?

Please post a video that addresses the entire dairy process not just the "friendly" stuff.

  • the cows are kept alive until they die. the pregnancy cycle happens as nature intends it to, (unless the calf gets stuck then you have to hook it on to chains and pull so they dont both die) and male calves are usually either raised to be bulls or castrated and grown to be sold as beef. some cows are artificially inseminated and others are not. it generally depends on the farmer's preference. we use traditional breeding because it is cheaper and usually yields better.

    friendly enough?

  • Lovely cows :) My 3 year old loves this video. Loves organic milk too when we can get it.

  • Great Video, those cows are looking pretty healthy. Thank you.

  • good episode

  • It is all about PROFIT!! If you can make more profit by doing organic farming - that is they way they will go!! If it is more profitable by doing "farming by chemistry" - then that will be done. If they can do farming by eating SHIT - they will do that - as long as it is profitable!! NO PROFIT = NO FARM!!

  • riiiiight. grass itself would never make a cows udder (tits) grow THAT big.

also, there's NOTHING organic or cow friendly about cutting its antlers!!! so...he can just shut up with all that crow friendly crap.

  • ... Antlers? I'm sorry, cows don't grow antlers. You are thinking reindeer.

Just for future reference, cows can genetically be born without HORNS. Its called being "Polled". The main reason farmers "dehorn" cows is because of safety reasons. Cows are known to be aggressive towards each other by butting their heads around. For a while, we didn't dehorn our cows because we thought it was cruel, but it was BAD mistake because there were torn udders EVERYWHERE. Its hard to heal a torn udder.

  • hmm I'm lactose intolerant, but I like organic food ^^

  • If you die tommorrow it will be the best or worst day of your life! So whats the PROBLEM? LOL!

  • I have been on organic dairy products for about four years. It does taste better, and my health improved. That rBST added hormone makes infections in the cows rampant at regular dairies, and the end product has a lot more bacterial infection material in it. In some people it causes multiple bladder infections and immunity problems.

  • you ever tried organic honey, it last langer on the shelf.(you know what i mean because you see the store honey already crystalizing.) And tastes 10x better

  • fuck my family are like fucking carnivores and dont give a shit i swear when i leave my and live by myself im gonna try to become a VEGETARIAN cause its horrible how they make milk beef and shit these days!

  • very good video. I just visited some Organic Valley dairy farmers who share the same view. They all are passionate about what they do and why.

  • great vid!

  • That was great, we just made some organic ice cream, tasty!

  • Organic milk is indeed better, the taste is more natural in a way.

I buy 95% organic food, ie. the last 4% is the stuff I can't seem to find and the last 1% is Coca Cola ;o)

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • Great and informative video. People should know as much about their food as possible. Also, if a person has never TRIED organic milk, they sure should... it is noticibly better.

  • first!
