I loved playing this game when I was younger. It taught me a little about strategy and greatly improved my actual card game without me having to play tons of games IRL, which was just as well because there was only, like, one other person at my school I knew who knew how to play properly and wasn't a dick. Also I didn't have to splurge on ENDLESS BOOSTER PACKS GETTING SHIT CARDS AND DUPLICATES ALL THE TIME.

how to i use firregiver?when i select pkmn power it kept saying i do not have to activate it to use it.but i see no button for me to use it!!!!its so frastrating!

@RonLarhz It's supposed to be when you put Moltres into play (not during set-up) then you can put 1-4 Fire energy cards into your hand from your deck.

but i cant select the deck to draw it?i kept seeing the card master draw alot each turn but how does that take place?the only selectable area are my hand,my pokemon and the discarded pile.i cant select the deck at all?

@lostinthe559 I forgot where I found my codes, but Google around for Gameshark codes. There are specific codes to find individual cards in booster packs, including the rare ones.

ok so one day i was playing my game. i got it for my computer now. the game boy had its deffects. so i was looking at a walkthrough, and it says they dont make pokemon tcg. for america because some cards arent american, and are illegal in tournaments, most people will be dissatisfied, with the game.

after you play the first game of pokemon trading cards and learn the basic commands putting in play add an energy put in bench learning the attacks on the cards playing pokemon trading cards part 2 the japanese game is easy it basically has the same cards and commands all you need is an internet walkthrough and your set for the second japanese game

when i get enough cards i create decks that could do double damage based on the gym leaders weknes doing a deck with eevee also adding scyther they dont need a type of energy also adding the legendary pokemon moltres ability to get fire energy zapdos dose 30 random damage when put in bench articunos paralizes your opponents pokemon use scoop and do it again use only fire energy

Here is a tip for pokemon TCG: Use more Trainers and less energy/pokemon:

4 Oak

4 Bill

4 Computer Search

17 Energy

Plus more Trainers and pokemon w/ power, trust me, that is how you will not run into much energy and don't cry that you are not getting them since Oak and Bill should draw you them.

My deck is pretty balanced, the excess energy was just a set of bad draws. Before I recorded I used the same deck and started getting a ton of trainers/Pokemon and NO energies.

Hahaha, the highlight of the video for me is at 1:04 - 1:10. The way you talk so nonchalantly about it, along with the funny voicing, gets me every time!

In any case, awesome video! This game is great for those who have any interest at all in card games, and you pretty much highlight the neat features that it has to offer.

Ah, Pokemon games. It looks like any of the other games except pokemon are fake and people walk in place. Also, I thought Gastly was part poison so him being poisoned doesn't make sense.

Well there was only 6 types at the time the GBC game came out: Water, Fire, Electric, Grass, Fighting and Psychic. Some types for specific Pokemon had to be replaced because of this. Gastly is Psychic in the card game. Though, he COULD have had a Pokemon Power that prevented him from being poisoned, but that might have made him a little TOO good.
