Primarily is that he was born in a British protectorate where dual citizenship isn't legal - making him a british citizen. Next, to the extent that he ever was an American citizen, he renounced that citizenship. Any way one counts it, legally, he wasn't and isn't elligable to be president. Does it matter? Yes. We had that debate over Arnold who everyone wanted seemingly.

Primarily is that he was born in a British protectorate where dual citizenship isn't legal - making him a british citizen. Next, to the extent that he ever was an American citizen, he renounced that citizenship. Any way one counts it, legally, he wasn't and isn't elligable to be president. Does it matter? Yes. We had that debate over Arnold who everyone wanted seemingly.
