  • What was the song called

  • American announcers.... SMH

  • The last one was the best!

  • 1:15 - 1:23 I died laughing

  • @drumtilludrop610 gotta love an over-the-top announcer :D

  • mls keepers get so happy when they actully make a save XD ahahahhhh

  • "His second penalty kick save in the season" LMFAO his voice cracks me up...

  • lol "dicks" at 0:28

  • Pats save(s) were by far the best!!!!

  • Tyrone Marshalle, nombre, that fool was impressive.

  • That was a good compilation of some BOMB saves. Viva el futbol!

  • the mls is nothing like the premier league

  • kevin hartman was the best

  • respect from france champions OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLE

  • If there's any sporting justice, Hartman will backup Howard for the US. The guy has been so overlooked.

  • Onstabd is the best !

  • idk how the fuck rcketts did not make the top ten at least

his ave against houstin dynamo was one of the best saves i have ever seen

  • @joecool8532 go suck a cock hater

    joefag

  • What a sucky goalkeepers has the MLS 3 of the 10 great saves of the year are not even maked by goalkeepers but by players

  • @MsSUpersukkel that dont mean goalies are bad you dumbass that just means mls has better defenders

  • @MsSUpersukkel Why do you think it's called "Save of the year top 10"? Instead of "Goalkeeper saves of the year top 10" because it's about the saves from anyone on the pitch, as long as it's a save, it can make it on the top 10 list if it's good enough, not just from a keeper.

  • uuuggg i cannot believe onstead won... he is such a joke! smacking other players is not cool at all! marshalls was the best... i remember thinking that was going in for sure but then BAM marhall saves the day

  • @lostroxanduknowit Onstad made two saves to preserve the game late: the PK save then the save RIGHT AFTER the PK save. That's why it was the Save of the Year.

  • Isn't that technically a backpass at 2:25? Or is there no backpass rule in the MLS?

What the heck even happens if you backpass in the box anyway?

  • in soccer, there are backpasses. do whatever you like with the ball, as long as your not using your arms.

  • I meant that under FA rules in Britain you're not allowed to kick the ball to your own keeper, you CAN pass to the keeper as long as you don't use your legs, it's called the backpass rule here.

So when the guy clears off the line and the keeper catches it that would be a backpass under FA rules afaik.

I think it's a free kick if you backpass but I've never seen it happen, can't imagine it would give a penalty if you did it in the box though.

  • As long as the own players do not deliberately pass the ball by foot, like happened in the save, to their own goalie. It is okay

At least that is what I have been taught.

  • Its a question of intent. Was it deliberate? The Ref has to decide. FIFA Rules are standard throughout the world.

I get to see a lot of soccer/football in different places around the world. The rules dont change but the ref's interpretation certainly does!!

  • Marshall or onstad for me....and if I had to choose it'd be marshall. They made terrific saves but also kept their head in the game to continue defending afterward.

  • poo butts its totaly nick

  • totaly nick riomando you poo butts!!!!!

  • Tyrone Marshall's just doesn't seem all that impressive. Even when I try to give him the benefit of the doubt, I still think Goldthwaite's or Cameron's goal line clearances are more impressive. But Pat Onstad trumps all :)

  • zach thornton for sure.

he did so well to get to that

  • no Jon Busch?! He won goalkeeper of the year last season

  • No Donovan Rickettes?

  • that is what I was saying

  • marshall or onstad

  • ima sounders fan, but onstad's pk save was by far the best.

  • dude the MLS keepers aint half bad! hope the premier league is takin note

  • these are the BEST saves all season, of course they're going to look good

  • without a doubt.

  • Kev Hartman or Pat Onstad...hartman's save was great considering he came out of nowhere to get to the ball.

Onstad's save was just pure class. Great positioning and great reflexes.

  • onstads first one for sure

  • Onstad's save should get it.

    Cannon's save comes second.

  • no ricketts?? bummer! umm well they were great but id pick onstad, burpo or hartman~ galaxy vs houston on friday!! Go Galaxy!

  • it should of been wicks

  • Joe Cannon. Week 11.

  • THANKS TYRONE!

  • Onstad, Thorton and Hartman were my favorites.

  • goldthwaites no question

  • i really like golthwates save but i think save of the year should be a goalie making the save

  • I'd go with Onstad's PK just because he got back up and made another big save.

  • man, it looked liked altogether ricketts and keller had like half of the saves on the other video but none of them made it to the top ten. i'd say ostad's penalty or thorntons week 6

  • who here thinks pat onstad looks like balloon boy's dad?

  • hahahaha

  • first commenter

  • Pat Onstad on the penalty. Damn good saves!

  • aw no donovan ricketts?! i got for pat onstand or hartman
