Thank you so much......I 've been wondering for years how that was played and really it's quite simple, however I would have probably not have done it without you.
I can't follow the order I'm supposed to play each of these parts in... can you post the order or a tab or something to help me? Very beautiful song, best tutorial on here.
Another one of my all time favorites by S&G (and Mark)! Looking at your channel, you are doing a great job of teaching us some really good tunes. You are the best!
you lost me I need to see the left hand close up slower and instructions slower I know there alot of people that get it and will noob me off but the angel of your left hand is deceiving it looks open on one string when you say closed etc I really like that your doing this . I play and work for a seniors home Ill be playing tomorrow but not this one lol thanks again for doing this this song and picking is great
I am pretty much a beginner, but I heard this song on a movie and had to learn it. So beautiful, thanks for the lesson. I am getting the hang of it. Thanks again. What other songs that you've done would you recommend for a beginner?
Mark, Great job with another tantalyzing beautiful Simon & Garfulkel gem. I'm still waiting for my thumb to heal, but am really excited to get such excellent instruction from a master teacher.
mark, thanks for this great guitar lesson of a beautiful song. the way you explain it is excellent, even a useless beginner guitarist like myself can have a go. cheers mark for posting your lessons. especially simon and garfunkle tunes.
Goldhat, great, you are back. You explain very clearly. Would this be the easiest one to start with, or am I wrong? I'm not that familiar with guitar, the F chord I still cannot play, so I'm practicing that. And than come C D G A Am and than I've had it.... I can still learn alot from you.
This is not really a beginner song, although it sounds easy, it is pretty tricky. But you should try it and see if you can do it. Thanks for your kind comments.
Could you do a version of "Old friends" as well?

Long ago, it must be I figured this out wrong. With capo on second fret (Doh) .....Makes much more sense with the capo on the 4th fret...
Thanks for posting this.. it's way more fun to play it correctly

Great lesson G. nice sound + guitar and shirt match.

Hmmm...I see what you mean. Also suspenders, pants, and wallpaper. This would be a good match to do some blues tunes.

I love these lessons!
However, you are playing either in Ab or G# with regard to your capo, you said "C".
Take care. ;)
