How do you remove a threaded headset? Because i know they hammer it on to install it, no special tools, i hated it, but they're on, that was i my LBS whick i won't go again and will start my own home made shop, but that's another story. I'm asking this because i want to change another threaded headset, but i wanna do it like the pros.
@error204 I did this myself a night or two ago. Basically I took all the easy things off, took of the fork, then used a soft metal pipe/rod thing and smacked it out. It worked! Haha.
Yeah fucker just don't show what the parts look like

what does a integrated headset come with? ty if someone answers
xLucianox420 1 year ago
@xLucianox420When you think of integrated headset, think about the cups for the headset being incorporated in the frame, in the head tube itself.
Also the bearings are usuallycartridge bearings, instead of the loose ball you'll find in some other headsets.

The Cane Creek video would have you believe you have to have have all fancy tools to do this.
herbal1971 1 year ago 2
@herbal1971 we know what it's like to be poor!
It doesn't hurt to use fancy tools, but is not necessarily always necessary.
If you're using full carbon everything, i would definitely recommend torque wrenches, etc.
