This happens to me too... Happened a lot more when I was younger, and when i'm p***** off with something the lamps just explode, either when I'm turning on the switch or when I'm crossing under... It just scares me the hell out!!
I used to think it was people in the civil air patrol messing with me jamming streetlights with laser pointers, but then it started happening with those mercury ones in tunnels and what not...I still don't know what to think. It's really freaky one time I had 2 in a row go off from my proximity then it skipped on and the next on on the other side of the street went out and that's just getting off the freeway. Going to the store to pick something up I'll trigger usually 2-4 (that I notice).
This same thing happens to my boyfriend all the time. I have witnessed it countless times in countless locations. It happened to me a few times, but I dismissed it as coincidence. However, the sheer number of occurrences with him are very hard to discredit, even to the point of driving down the highway watching every light turn off and then on as we pass...
just have the landlord change the bulb, it will stop.....I promise you, I own those kinds of fixtures myself and when such thing happens, i replace them and it stops...It has nothing to do with "SLIDERS" so please stop convincing people this has something to do with "SLIDERS" for proof, look at my videos, it shows I own those types of fixtures. and this is not a Mercury Vapor, its High Pressure Sodium. a Mercury Vapor glows greenish bluish color.
Yes of course he can replace the old bulb for new,and it will stop ...this happens to mne as well ..I can also influence street lamps..I also think taht usually the older types of lamps...

I have a book from 1952 from HEINZ WOLTERECK who wrote about exeriments weith electric people...I found the book dwo days after my grandmother died ..I found it in her bookcase..!
There definitely could be a better test done, but this is not impossible. We already know that humans produce a unique signature of radiation. Why couldn't there be someone that pushes that delicate system back and forth? Small changes in charge in the right place at the right time could definitely do this.
Seriously, don't zoom onto the light when recording SLI on something other than a street light - it makes it look like someone is simply turning off the light at just the right time (because the switch is off-camera). Though perhaps that's exactly what's happening here...
Please STOP with this SLI bullshit! It's normal that high pressure sodium, metal halide and (rarely) mercury vapor lamps cycle when reaching their end of life! Instead bullshitting on paranormal powers "involved in SLI" go and study something about the inner working of these lamps and their ballast!
In order to prove this is a REAL true thing...put the camera down about 20 feet from the light and record it for a good few hours, without you being there, then come to the light.
If the result is it always goes on and off and on and off then you aren't a "SLI" but if it stays on and never cycles (turn off and back on) UNTIL you walk by it...then I will consider believing it or thinking it.
But again I work with lights, this is a cause of a bad lamp (bulb), a sodium lamp cycles when its worn
seeing how the lamp turns on...its actually a high pressure sodium...high pressure sodium fires up bluish and warms up to orange color...when those lamps go to end of life, they turn off and on and off....it is called cycling...which they turn on, but the lamp is so worn out they can't stay on and exquinshes...then after a few minutes it tries to turn on, and flickers then back to warming up and full brightness then back off...if this was really SLIDER you would be able to turn off every light!

SLIders are just people who are overly observant and tend to notice patterns.
I am one also. Have been for about 15 years now. I believe I do not make the lights go on or off. I just notice them more than others.
When 3-5 lights go out on a 20 minute drive it does make me curious but I still believe its just im more aware of these things

Once during mud season I could predict when the sump pumps would go off within +/- 30 second accuracy. The period was 9 minutes.
