wow, something other phones already do! and just another marketing ploy to upgrade to the 3GS. Dont get me wrong, im glad they finally did this, but im tired of Apple acting as if they are doing something revolutionary that needs a phone upgrade. Lets take a look at their history:
No 3G
No MMS
No Video Camera
No Multitasking
No Flash
Am I forgetting any? The iPad is also starting off the same way, how many people are going to have to upgrade. Screw Apple, im switching to an Android OS phone
@atebit80 Apple is a closed developer system. So they wont implement things until they know they can implement them well. Multitasking is a good example. Apple didn't do it until they figured a way of doing it without overly compromising battery life and performance. I'm not an apple fanboy at all but in this instance I admire apple for holding back on certain implementation. If you don't like it then jailbreak, or get a different phone/os
@chaz4510 thats exactly what i'll do, because I think Google voice should have been approved, and wasnt. I think apple was capable of putting a video camera, and didnt. i think they can allow bluetooth transfer, but they dont. If you really believe they are only doing things when they know it will work good, your being naive. and btw, WebOS multitasking still blows this away
