I know some will think I'm nuts for saying this but I always liked hearing this song even more than seeing any women on Baywatch. lol! This song was just so touching and I always loved it so much, now I play it on my guitar and sing to it.

The girls on Baywatch were just empty eye-candy for us teenage-males back then, but this song had feeling and depth, even with David Hasselhoff singing it. lol!

Its funny I woke up today with this song stuck in my head well at least 90% of the lyrics were right. Im a singer/song writer guitarist, & I recorded myself singin the lyrics thinking I had an idea for a new song, although part of me thought it sounded like some 80's song & I now found out, duh it was the baywatch song! I never knew The Hoff sang it to be honest. Id just like to say Hofff, I knew you had talent & classy voice but, you really did a underestimated great Job with this song!

I actually don't know! I only know that this version (full version) was released on the Baywatch Album! But I don't think that the slow version ever released on an album!

Actually I've heard two versions. One of them: if you search "david hasselhoff current of love" on google, an imeem page comes up as the second result -- that has it for listening.

There's also one on the 1993 album "You Are Everything" by David Hasselhoff. I noticed some minor lyrical differences and some sound and length differences in the two songs. It's similar to the difference between the American and Euro versions of Hooked on a Feeling. I suspect the 1993 version may be a Euro version.
