I used a Presonus Inspire for my sound interface, and the microphone is just an MXL 909 Vocal Condenser Mic. For the guitar I used an Audio Technica mb4 (I think!). Hope that helps.

ok, someone just posted saying that the microphone "changes your voice"... I guess I just have to laugh at that... first of all, these are very cheap condenser microphones, not more than $100, and second, the reason to get a nice microphone, is so that the integrity of the voice/instrument isn't altered.

You have a very good voice and good vocal control, the only thing I would work on is your breathing. I think once you find your own style of singing this will just come natural. My older Brother owns a Record Company and has done some work with Interscope. So I've been around some real pros and learned a bit myself. You have what it takes to make it big so keep on doing more songs and don't be scared to change them up a bit to help show "your" passion in your songs.
