Nice build on S2k! Saleen sucks, 550HP my ass I know a dick head with one and my SRT 6 crossfire kills it on and off the track with only 350 RWHP. I run 12.1's with street tires on hot days, and at the 1/8th mile I left the saleen by over a second every time!
@XfireBlake Got any videos of an SRT6 running a 12.1? I mean they are decent cars, but 12.1 not stock. But yes, some Saleens have 550hp. Not all, but some do. And the ones that do, can run mid 11s all day with a halfway decent driver, 100% stock.

@XfireBlake Just watched a couple of your videos, good driving. And I'm definitely jealous of your deals gap video. But cars like the S302E are solid 11 second cars, sometimes low 11s. I was right that your car isn't stock, though, which explains a bit, but the SRT-6 is one of those quirky cars that not many people know about but I have always liked. Maybe eventually I'll get down there, both in ET and Deals Gap.
@Milehighsnake98 I have only raced the regular 5.0 new stangs but not any new Saleens but it sounds possible with drag radials. Mustangs don't hook up wheel without them:0 My car has intake, tune, and pulley (3psi over stock) they run low 13's stock @ 107 but mine hits 114 in 12.1;) so worth the mods! Still get 27 MPG highway! Deals Gap is amazing! That was my 3rd Crossfire trip down there and I left a mm of tread;)
@XfireBlake Very nice. I didn't know those cars trapped that high stock. I knew they were a solid 13 second car, just didn't know where in the 13s they would run. Also forgot that they were supercharged. For some reason I thought they were like, 300hp, NA.
@Milehighsnake98 The N/A crossfire is sadly only 215 HP, but watch for the larger fixed wing/ front spliter and 15 spoke wheels. The SRT has bigger brakes, sway bars, suspension, and of course the hand built AMG supercharged V6 with factory forged pistons. 14.5 Psi stock and easy to go to 18-22 with no fuel mods. I run a simple SC pulley that takes 10 min to install for 18 psi;) It dynos 350 which is 410 crank HP
that was a cool moment at :51 when you hear the Mustang in the background burning out.... like the big bad wolf was coming but the S2K gets away at the end. good post!
@McOrca09 Even though I'm biased towards the Mustang anyway, you've got to admit that a thousand pounds would probably make the difference here. That being said, if that Mustang were a thousand pounds lighter, it wouldn't be an American car.
handles better i guess you only like mustangs...for any car enthusiast a cars performance and handling are always a plus and with mods and such will make any car handle better and I doubt the mustang has better handling imo.

Look, here is very simple math. An 04 4.6L V8 Mustang GT gets 260 hp. A 2004 Honda S2000 2.0L gets 240hp. So there is there only a 20 horse difference when the Ford engine is more than twice the size, by your logic the pony should make twice the power, right? Oh and the same model year pony with a 3.6L V6 made a whole 190bhp. Thats less than the 2.0 Honda. By alot, in fact a 2.0 mustang would only make about 100 hp by that same hp:L ratio.. Find a friend that knows race physics and learn.

Stupid rustang looking all tough before the race then gets smoked by a 4 banger honda.Ford=fast only rolling downhill,plus that was a friggin SALEEN.the honda was nearly stock, just had a turbo and got boosted, the rustang was almost fully tuned, so that proves fords suck, rustangs suck,saleen sucks, and HONDA IS OFF THE HOOK

@hriverab18c yes i did see it , but supercharged doesnt mean its 1000 hp supercharger at most adds 120 hp , unless you have the most expensive one and still its not more than 150 , now from the sound of the honda it probly had more than just a turbo , sounded pretty modded, plus the light weight of it, i dont know what your trying to prove fully modded s2k vs a mustang with just a blower and maybe an exhaust, its pretty stupid and still the pony kept up , so there you have it . budd

@poltash actually alot of people do that , considering the fact that they dont want a damn drag car , and get 5 mpg , so they just supercharge it and put some supporting mods for the engine to take the power so it would go bad and thats ,it . not every one wants 800hp mustang for their daily driver, me personaly i woulnt mind it.

@hriverab18c HOMie or what ever , this particular honda is fast ,all my friends or most of them are import owners (i hang with the wrong crowd as im a muscle person) but i know for myself that no just turbacharged honda will run a agains a suprecharged saleen so it has to be more modded not just some turbo and it sounds more modded the saleen just sounds stock not even mean at all , and you can partially hear the supcharger sound only when the guys steps on it, but calling me a tool isnt helping

@hriverab18c you are clearly not thinking worth shit today my ricer opponent the s2000 2004 best time in the quarter mile is 13.9 that is coming from road and track 0-6.0 5.2 and thats the best other companies are 14.6 and low 14s , the saleen 0-60 4.5 quarter mile 12.9 so with a supercharger is high mid 11s car , you clearly dont know your facts either that or your high on weed and dont know crap when it comes to cars IMPORT OR DOMESTIC!!!

I love my S. But it takes serious power and a lot of work to make them fast in the 1/4... however a stock S around a track, you know.. with turns.. thats a whole different story. That is where these cars really shine.
