Flying at speeds over 100mph would mean that it would probably be impossible to land without a parachute.

I feel like you should be able to stall 15 ft above the ground, but I imagine that that would be incredibly difficult. I don't know a ton about the aerodynamicsof these suite, but if you keep your approach vector low enough, and you have a lot of room to glide and lose velocity...
