@TheAJZRocks No Final Cut Pro is a movie editor. If you're using Mac then buy Shake 4 if you're using a PC then buy adobe after effects. Shake will cost around $400 and after effects will cost about $800

@TheAJZRocks Shake is no longer being sold by apple but you can still find it on amazon. Apple has been working on another effects software but hasn't came out yet. Shake was used on many movies like Lord of the rings, King Kong, and Harry Potter. These programs do take some training to use. I know that in LA they offer classes at JC's which is the cheaper way than going to a film school.

@FuseHydro hey I know it's a little too late now but that sound happens when you play the movie thing and the bottom portion of the video is not rendered. If u r on a app,e you just hit apple(command) and r at the same time and if you are making a video don't forget to save constantly by pressing command and s at the same time hope this helps (p.s.) this is only if you R on an apple computer if not I don't really. Know but look up how 2render on show or stuff like that hope this helps!!!! :)

Maby you know something I dont. tekst back and let me know, dude:) But what I know is that you should know the difference between progressive and interlaced. The frames are totally different.

@Razlo5000 You go to import files and then you locate what you want to import. If final cut cant read it, you will know. Then you have to convert to something alse, but its hard for me to tell when I dont know what type of film or file you want to import. If final cut can read it and you can see the file in the browser, than you just drag it in to the timeline. If you then see a note from final cut saing you need to change the codec to go with the timeline, you press yes!

Capturing a live feed from your camera is as easy as capturing from tape. To do a live capture you connect your camera to your mac via firewire the same as you would if you were capturing from tape, and turn the camera on in camera mode. The Final Cut Pro Log and Capture will not recognize any timecode during a live capture, so you will have to set your device control at Non-Controllable Device. Selecting Capture Now will begin the live capture, and it will continue until you press the ecape key

@REDIMUSICMOVIES yes. just import it(if you dont know the settings) and after that you see in the browser what type of frame size it is. then set the timeline to match this.
