My great aunt's dog would wait at her burrial sight after she died... He would howl.. and my aunts and uncles would try to get him to stop, because where they're located, when a dog howls- that means it's calling spirits. Not normally good ones. He died a little while after because he wouldn't eat.. Poor boy..

@GREATBRITISHGAMER it is ok to give dogs chicken as treats. they are most commonly used for training treats. once the dog gets used to the treat they are being given they might get sick of it and want something more tastier. But i know alot of dogs that love carrots...most fruit and veggies are good for dogs. : ) just no seeds from apples or pears...they are poisonous. : ) hope your dog enjoys his/her new treats.

I was shure, this hungry dog was not expecting Carrots, after a week of hunger. Many of you give carrots to dogs for a healty reason, but dogs in Romania wish for something more filling. Like meet product. It was more apealing to me to get him hotdogs, that are there cheap to buy.

BTW, he loves lettuce, broccoli stalks and salads (for a treat we grill a chicken breast, cut it up and toss with lettuce, carrots. and juices from the chicken as we let the meat rest covered after grilling). A gleaming empty bowl is left every time.

there was this homless guy in our town who always had this german sheperd .. whenever he got money he would always, without fail, buy the best dog food before he got anything for himself. a few years ago he passed away in an abandoned flat.. the dog wouldn't let anyone near the body .. last time i saw the dog, he was looking very thin, and he was outside a chipper and people were giving him scraps (we all knew who he was).. no-one has seen him since :(

something like this happened in my town. an older man had a dog he'd raised from a pup and he right before be died he wanted his dog there at the funeral. when the day came, the dog was there and refused to leave the grave. he didnt eat or drink & ended up passing away on his owners grave. we all pooled money together and put a stone dog statue next to his owners grave along with his companions ashes. they lay together for eternity, man and his best friend. true love and loyalty. :')
