Anybody who thinks this game sucks because it looks dumb should go think more on life. My brother the crackdown was retarded when he saw it. when he played it he thought it was the second best game in the world(next to gears of war, which he also rejected at sight).
Yeah it's always a suprise finding out a game that you shunned at first sight is really good but, that didn't happen to me with Stranglehold. At the very least Stranglehold will be above average.
Haven't games matured beyond this by now? None of those fancy moves mean much when movement and key animations are so arcadey. How quick does this guy flip up off the floor? And can't they blend animations and change orientation smoothly, rather than flicking around ridiculously?
This is just Max Payne with more cpu power dedicated to breaking things.
Grow up, game industry. We've shot people with guns before. Either do it better than everyone else, or do something original.

I love those Physics simulated environments, but I hate the movements of the character you play as.
