My dog sat 5,5 years at a shelter ( a very good one, Protectora Apan,) and then he was fostered by a lovely lady in Germany before I adopted him 3 years ago, He is gourgeous and he knows it too....Adopting elder dogs is really great !!

Animal Control found her. We had a volunteer go to AC almost every single day for a full month and got the attention of the head guy. We gave him tons of flyers and he made sure that every dispatcher had one. So when they found her trapped in somebody's back yard, they knew exactly who she was.

When Iris was six months old, a lady sent her to a private "sanctuary" in Taiwan. Iris was confined in a very narrow crate. One day one of her front paws got caught in the crate. She cried for help but no one paid attention to her. Poor circulation left her front paw twisted. It was nearly a month before the caretaker discovered Iris' problem but by then, it was too late to mend it.
