it looks like Psychology ( books etc.. ) I think it is better to say that if you are a worship leader you should be full by the Holy Spirit so that Jesus is in your life and puts His love and then you know how to deal with people because it is not you anymore but Jesus through you...

@danivedis I agree but he is speaking to the audience in terms of maturity. Obviously, if you are a worship leader, even you know that you have to be filled with the spirit. He is coming from the perspective of feeding the leaders with solid food not mere milk you see..thats whats leaders need. And he is talking about practical stuff, sometimes being "spiritual" alone doesn't help you must make it practical. e.g. you can be so filled with the spirit and still have a stinking attitude

@danivedis Not everyone liked Jesus - people got mad at him, disliked him, etc . . . yet he was perfect. Just because we are a true representation of Christ, which we can't because we're human and sinners, we won't always be liked by everyone. Because Christ was rejected. . .

I have found with music groups in the church, you have to become "family". There needs to be love and caring and compassion. Let's face it, musicians are flighty at best. Music is a very personal thing and can become the very wedge that prys groups apart. Getting into each others' lives, we tend to find understanding of others. In Christ we are family or "blood" but sometimes we don't act like it. Take every opportunity to spend some time with your brother or sister outside of practice.

I agree, we had to really pull together after we lost our worship leader. we were lost for months. Our keyboardest who was very shy became our worship band leader. We had some tough times, loss, divorce, the Church lost a pastor. but it pulled us together and made us a family. we are more in tune to each other now and it shows.
