Yet still the envelopes are not thick enough for a yokozuna. So my guess is due to economic conditions locals are tightening their betting budget or Asashyoryu is not favorite of local audience.

For some reason, Fukuoka is always the least attended of all the 6 Grand Sumo tournaments - you won't see big crowds until this Sat and Sunday.
