I've just saw this movie in France. More than funny or weird, this is a clever movie, I think because it shows everything a man wants to hide about himself. There's a part in the movie where it REALLY looks like he's about to do a line of coke...he closes one nostril and it jumps to the next shot really quick, but you can see that his head was slowly moving to the table....this was right before taking viagra, then getting into trouble with the cops...did anyone else notice that?

I was actually quite excited to watch this, because I thought it'd be funny and\or sad, but it's neither; it's just plain stupid.

Firstly you'd have to be very innocent to believe what you see is real. To me this is more of a fiction rather than documentary. Most things are staged and can you believe that asshole had dozens of different girlfriend and the half dozen we do see are all pretty and intelligent?

Firstly, Chris is no asshole and secondly, having grown up with him and two of the girlfriends featured in the film (plus others not featured) I can assure you that he has had some wonderful girlfriends.

I really don't know if he is an asshole (probably not) but he depicts himself that way.

Chris is a film maker - in this case he's taken reality and exaggerated it.

Well, at least I maintain that people shouldn't have high expectations before watching the movie.

Like I've written before, this documentary premise was brilliant and, if you think about it, very relevant to the western male.

But when a good idea is poorly executed I think us (spectators) should be harsher on the filmmaker than we should be on a crappy action flick, don't you think?

Maybe you just want it not to be honest for some reason that nobody including me can understand. It's a great movie, and yes maybe you should change your game plan and learn from him (without copying his mistakes). He said he asked 300 women to have sex with him and only one said she'd meet him, so just try.

Because it is, mostly, a fiction, and a stupid one at that. Reminds me of some of the latest comic movies coming from Hollywood where scatological humor is more important than intelligence.

Doesn't hurt me at all, I'm glad you state your opinion and you don't have to like it. I just don't quite understand why you want it to be fake so much. It seems that you can't cope with the fact that he's good at picking up girls and think it has to be fake. But as I already posted, he had to ask 300 girls to get one to meet him again and even she wouldn't have sex with him right away, so what's unbelievable about it?
