  • CHECK MY CHANNEL FOR A ROGER FEDERER vs RAFAEL NADAL FULL MATCH [HD] --- FREE DOWNLOAD via EMAIL

  • is it stupid for me to have a two-handed forehand? i pretty much never play tennis, but when i do, it's the only way i can have some tiny bit of accuracy

  • the racket speed that he plays with during practice is still immense, normally players slow it down and just try to get nice rhythm in practice. especially federer he is just so chilled. ive got similar vids of both guys on my channel.

  • wow strong backhand

  • 4:09 one handed :D

  • Comment removed

  • lol at 1:24 is the guy behind the fence Djokovic?

  • He does have a strong forehand. He is also one of the best tennis player that have a good topspin forehand.

  • 0:16 to 0:50 is Nadal playing against himself? :O

  • WOW 0:45

  • his he playing himself ?

  • what shoes are those?

  • he's hitting "flatter" mainly because he's hitting on a hard court and not moving from side-to-side like you see in a match situation

  • he's hitting "flatter" mainly because he's hitting on a hard court and not moving from side-to-side like you see in a match situation

  • some very good arguing we have here yes! LOL

  • the trajectory of his balls here is surprisingly low for a player with such heavy top spin, no?

  • how someone like him with such un-smooth strokes has won 10 grand slams is crazy. shame on the people who have lost to him.

  • @brawlaccount just shut up

  • @2435chafro so true, nadal by far has the ugliest most boring bland game out of all the great slam winners in history. this guy is so low on talent that it's painfully obvious he's roiding. when it's all said and done if he ends up with more slams than federer i will disown tennis as a sport and no longer acknowledge its existence. never seen a sport that allows such talentless mundanes to succeed so much.

  • @Swordsman808 im a huge federer fan but when it comes down to it nadal is number one right now because he is playing better than federer right now and i find it very weird how your calling the number one tennis player in the world talentless when, if you play tennis, you could never be as good as him in your life

  • @2435chafro there may be a lot of people out there who could never succeed at tennis as much as the baboon (myself included), but I bet a helluva lot of them wouldn't have such ugly, boring, one-dimensional, need-a-crapload-of-roids-to-win type of games!

  • @Swordsman808 whats with you and steroids? do you know for a fact hes on steroids? if not then your argument makes no sense and I don't see how rafa plays "ugly" everyone has their own playing style. he plays powerfully while federer plays with finese.

  • @2435chafro nadal more powerful than federer? federer averages way more velocity and penetration on his serve and forehand. federer attacks, stays close to the baseline and comes in off great serves and approaches whenever the opportunity arises and wins by racking up winners. nadal relies on faggoty girly spin to hit awkward bouncing balls to his opponents' backhands 90% of the time and earns points by waiting for his opponents to screw up. ugly talentless tennis bad for the game.

  • @Swordsman808 that "faggoty" spin is hip rotation that is crucial to any forehand and nadal hits just as hard if not harder than federer. i dont know what you mean by awkward bounces but if he does do them then thats why hes winning and thats a strength. hitting to backhands is a strategy and obviously its working very well and if he wins because his opponents screw up it just means that hes the not one not messing up making him the more consistant player.

  • @2435chafro nadal hits harder than federer? lol. for all the huzzah made about his stupid one big roided bicep (his other arm is a faggoty little bitcharm), the guy has one of the most pathetic serves of any all time great. moonballs his forehand, moonballs his backhand. federer just aces the shit outta you and hits screaming winners. he's off the court in under two hours winning 7-5 7-5. where the baboon takes over two hours to win 6-0 6-0. ugly, painful, monotonous, drawnout, and predictable.

  • @2435chafro ummmm the number one player in the world? yeah, suck it.

  • Hey, Nadal. will you marry me?

  • thumbs up if you think rafa nadal is going to win wimbledon this year (2011). thumbs down if you think someone else will.

  • thumbs up if you think rafa nadal is going to win wimbledon this year (2011). thumbs down if you think omeone else will.

  • @TennisAnnalyst That was meant in a hyperbolic manner.

  • Why are all the good players left handed ;_;

  • SOUTH PAW!!!!

  • wow the racquet head speeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

  • Lol 1:33

    Loner

    ._.

  • he`s a monster!

  • does the camera slow down the ball any because most of the time when I watch this stuff, the ball doesnt seem to be going that fast.

  • @JxCxGriffin its something to do with the camera angle...things moving towards or away dont seem to move that fast because you can constantly track it....side on your eyes have trouble adjusting to the movement so it appears faster...or the real speed

  • Who is Rafa hitting with?

  • at every foregand you see the extreme spin to the right

  • Federer watched this video 22 times !

  • @GanzLONDON and gave 22 likes... he respects rafa more than anyone

  • Having seen both guys live back-to-back, Nadal's forehand is like a cannonball. You can literally see the heaviness of it and imagine the nasty tennis elbow the average person would get hitting against it. Although sometimes it gets kind of weak and shallow. Federer's is like a bullet. It was more beautiful to look at and zipped through the court faster and more smoothly. He made more errors, though. Nadal has the better forehand these days, but Federer's when he's at his best is unmatched.

  • is Cantonese or Mandarin?

  • I dislike nadal alot but i must say his backhand is underrated....

  • I dislike nadal alot but i must say his backhand is underrated....

  • 21 people played against nadal.

  • nice video of Rafa :)

here is the link to my parody of Andy Murray's spot "Street Magic in London" from head: watch?v=keF53PVLdd8

  • He has a very strong forehand

  • @LegalAccelerator But, not as good as Federer's!

  • @jmbhalodia12 Yes it is. If not its better. Way more accurate and powerful

  • @LegalAccelerator and backhand. few people can do backhand really well.

  • @LegalAccelerator that;s what she said.

  • 0:47 is a a freakin amazing shot.

  • Rafa's one handed backhand slice is a thing of beauty to watch in slow motion.

  • look at that ball right at 1:37 blasted on the baseline and Nadal picks it up like nothing. hi looks late.

  • I like Nadal a lot, mostly 'Cause I hit my forehands and backhands very similar to his. But what kind of disturbs me is (after turning on 720p HD.. (off topic but i paused it once after he hit the ball and i could almost read what type of ball it was lol) i noticed that on forehands he had to run for to get... He has his right foot on its side (like at 4:34). It just concerns me, I had a friend almost break his ankle due to having his foot sideways).

  • @chrism4n14 i completely agree with you in the face that our ankles are probably not meant to perform like this, especially with the weight of our bodies adding to the stress. However, like many, Nadal has a majority of his weight on his left leg, trremendously reducing the stress on his ankle.

  • hahah srry i meant in the fact*

  • 4:10 rafa doing one handed backhand :O lol

  • @ThePhenixFire There are a couple of places earlier where he does a 1hbh too. Look in the blue shirt sections. :-)

  • You can really see the way he bends his shots!!!

  • fera nadal

  • @1515borges fera Nadal?

  • is it just a coincidence that federer and nadals videos started out in the same way? (volleys)

  • The amount of work Nadal puts on the ball is just too good. Its heavy, spinning and hard. Amazing chap - oh and such a phenomenal athlete............

  • @foritisi the reason players having a hard time with nadal is because nadal's top spin is just too much and it bounces high and when it bounces it accelerates more.

  • @110113bobby1 in Cantonese or Mandarin?

  • @110113bobby1

"this guy" is rafa nadal, and he doesn't say "hao qiu". HE SAY "VA TU"

He want to let her opponent know that he is going to hit the ball very strong

    sorry for my bad english

  • @110113bobby1 konexhiwa

  • My god, look at the net clearance he gets on his shots. Ridiculous.

  • @Alan171392 thank you! almost everyone but me on my tennis team hates rafa lmao

  • Everyone always says how Fed's strokes are so beautiful and his game is so elegant and artistic (which is true) and Rafa's is so boorish, mundane, workmanlike. But Nadal's technique is amongst the best on tour. Second to Federer IMO. I can name droves of pros with uglier strokes (not that Rafa's strokes are ugly, I actually find them the most technically correct next to Federer). And some of the shots Nadal hits from the absurd positions he's in, you cannot say he's not exceptionally gifted.

  • @Swordsman808 choose monster spin over style and grace any day

  • @Anjo606 Myself personally, I actually prefer raw pace to spin. I like ending points quickly.

  • @Swordsman808 yes sir, on hardcourts flatter hard pace does so much more damage. the speed this kid has is insane though, makes up for the lack of raw pace on those moonballs he hits to the one handers backhands

  • @cj397 Funny, I never really considered Nadal a moonballer. And he definitely isn't one day. Amazingly, he's able to hit with both phenomenal pace as well as spin, a deadly combination. Usually one must compromise for the other, but apparently not in Rafa's case. Nadal has improved his flat shots tremendously as well.

  • lmao....... wooooo!! lol its not competetive he just wants to rally. its probably just an assigned hitting partner whos no where near the top 100 and theyre getting excited. but asside from that great camera angle.. you can see the way nadal changes the racquet for different spins

  • I love rafa's forehand swing.... Good definition!!! but low fps :(

  • @queenofcourt In commercial sports that is. And just last year.

  • ilie nastase!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hehe i love how all of the audience's heads move in unison!

  • OMG es terrible malo, le vuelo el ollo!!

  • @queenofcourt High performance sport provokes over eager practitioners. Much money. Beware of doping (Cantador, Nad...)

  • Nadal #1. true class. so nice. true champion. true king . Nadal LOVE :)

  • @federerbestcIass Traitor!

  • @Alan171392 Got dat right, Federer inspires me, but Rafa pushes me to work my hardest.

  • Meet Asian women #lushfmlk.info#

  • he uses the Western grip for forehand right?

  • @hoang1428 yeah but it's a very extreme western

  • @TheDaltan14 the thing is, during the us open this year he changed his grip to almost a semi western, which is a very difficult thing to do, thus allowing some people to think of him as a genius at tennis, considering hes naturally right handed also

  • @hoang1428 extreme semi western. an extreme western is called the hawaiin grip which you will not see anyone using these days.

  • beautiful point 0:47

  • whith who is he hitting with??

  • super quality!.

  • is that klijsters in the back

  • go worrier

  • Who can beat Nadal on clay? Coria and Juan Carlos Ferrero.

  • sparring s havin a very very hard time here

  • how does he not have tennis elbow?

  • whos the other player ???

  • hes relentless to whoever hes rally with

  • was that grunt really necessary in the beginning of this vid.. haha

  • look at his left arm compared to his right!!

  • rafa has more control on the ball than any other player

  • holy crap check out his moaning...really ruins it for me

  • He was born for that game!

  • Is it true that lefties can put more spin on the ball than righties?

  • mcquicker and hateNadal are f-cktards!

  • @wonderfulspaniard1 I concur!!! :)

  • wow! man Rafa you are awesome, that much power and spin? no wonder you are seated no 1. in the world. I admire your skills man. Go for it!!!!!

  • @tspin10 I think its seeded.

  • Wow dude! I watched this video 3 times in a row, rafa is tha best! Great vid man!!!!

  • nice video

  • wow, now thats what I call racquet head speed. Thats not a forehand, it's a sling shot no wonder he can get that much spin

  • holy shit awesome!

  • Rafa one hand back hand at 4:10 lol

  • god damn!!

  • so this sounds like a stupid question but uh... how come when pros play the court looks soooo much bigger? are there different regulations for size on a pro court? O.o...

  • @myungsupah lol it kinda is. haha. its cuz of the angle of the camera. its high up, so it looks bigger. just like in soccer, the field looks bigger on tv, but in real life, its a lot smaller. its the same size tho.

  • @myungsupah camera angle - there is only one size of court, even for juniors and women.

  • @mwmolloy hm weird. i swear when i play at school, the court is small compared to this. maybe i'm just crazy then.

  • Ha look at all the heads moving from 0:38-0:48 ;)

  • nadal is amazing way better than roger federer cool vid how did u make it

  • nice quality

  • wow Amazing i'm in aww

  • what is the string.????????????

  • dude !! whos the other guy at the opposite side? he dress similar to nadal

  • @LaWRenZzzz111 i think thats andy roddick

  • @bonghole92 you my friend are incorrect

  • @tullster28 well it kinda looks like him =p

  • Rafa hits with the highest RPM in the world. Great hits!

    MY channel >> 2knowfun2

  • im the 261,074 viewer omg i feel special.........

  • Why is he so amazing!! :(

  • i wna kno how he developed that technique! i love using topspin but it doesnt have nearly the kick or penetration as nadals!

  • I am the 257,800 viewer xDD

  • im the 257,200 viewer! w00t lol

  • I never noticed it before, but during this practice, Nadal doesn't appear to have good footwork moving forward with the backhand. Look at 1:42. You can almost tell he's trying to use forehand footwork with the front foot hop.

  • Does Nadal use a full western grip on serves?

  • @lolomgdude lol... ofcourse not...

  • he makes it look so easy....

  • from 2:05-2:013 the noise you hear is nadals ball spin lol

  • @bimbim007 thats sick thats just outragious thats just scary dude!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • whoa he serves weird at 1:47 although that's probably not his full power surve

  • 0:30.. what a spin..

  • i prefer rafas forehand over federers because federer hits more of a flat ball and doesnt generate as much pace and spin

  • Federer has the most amount of topspin on his forehand next to Nadal. Fed's forehand is better because he can hit both flat and topspin. It's considered to be the greatest forehand of all time.

  • dude flat means fast...with heavy spin the ball loses alot of energy (speed) when it comes in contact with the court...think friction

  • i prefer rafas forehand over federers because federer hits more of a flat ball and doesnt generate as much pace and spin

  • Yeah, the racket has little to do with the whole spin pop whatever business. Although ig the frame can affect it, just not to the extent that form or even just the strings have on it.

  • go rafa....

  • Rafa, I love you...

I am your biggest fan and miss you :(

I hope you will come back soon ;)

  • i heard something happened to him do you know by any chance

  • yea injury at the aussie open hes not feeling like himself anymore. i have a feeling his ranking is gonna go downhill. he just started playing again

  • @halo0407 he is num 1 now!!!! nice coment!!!!lol

  • @topspin27es

perhaps my theory is wrong. but maybe because of the clay court season

    but true. i was wrong

    but im worried after wimbeldon

  • Most of that insane topspin is due to Nadal's full western forehand grip and the rest is due to his follow through and wrist action going from below the ball and coming over it.

  • check the curve!!!

  • You are an idiot mcquicker. Stop being an old retard and accept the fact that Rafa is a legend. IT'S ALL HIM STOP SAYING SHIT ABOUT THE RAQUET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Rafa is a great player...no question about it....but is not a legend yet...he can become one someday in the future...

  • @gigatron4 It will be tough with those knee injuries :S

  • 1:04 watch how much he comes under the ball.

  • I love the view from court level behind Rafa

  • @hateNadalll I am letting everyone know that the user 'federerbestclass' and the user 'hateNadalll' (who posts stupid comments about hating nadal)- are the SAME PERSON. They posted to me a list of all the things Nadal does that they dont like, guess what, it was the exact same list (with broken english) that febbestclass posted to me!!!. they give themself thumbs up to look good. Very disrespectful and arrogant person!!

  • @mcquicker, what a load of crap you just said, Nadal owing his tospin to his raquet?? Stupidest thing I've ever heard!! If that was true anyone who bought his raquet would be hitting that amount of topspin(obviously not true), besides, anyone who knows about raquets(which you obvioulsy don't) knows that the more you adjust your raquet to create spin(loosenning string tension or using a more opened string pattern) the more control you lose, and Nadal's control is exceptional!! Is ALL TECHNIQUE!!!
