Otherwise.. Exercise at your BEST and rest 1 day and exercise at your best again the next day after resting.

@nrp360 yes you can get abs. train your ab muscles and with enough time you will be able to have defined looking muscles. whats important is to have a proper diet and plenty of exercise to decrease the fat surround your abs in order to make them visable.

I have a very similar one to you i just didnt know the names: sits-ups Knee up Crunches 6 inchers(leg lift hold) 90 leg taps Bicycle crunches Superman side crunches 5 sec hold crunches Dont use anything to hold your legs down tho and touch your knee to elbow on the bicycles. for the guy who says it doesnt work i was doing this before i saw the video and it definitely does
the first one sucks because when you holding you feet like that and have something that holding them back makes you train your hips and the abs to but i dont think you guys want train ur hips like that..
@LigerDeath546 I have tried tons of workouts. That is why i can tell this is nothing special. Neither parts of this workout is any new, and on top of that he does half of them wrong. For example, he uses his hands to pull forward when doing crunches making them 20x easier. i can barely feel it when i do it that way. Instead try to fold them over your chest or even strench them behind your head.
This way you will get the full use of every chunch, why would you work out just to cheat.
@lollipopuser You may have tried tons of other workouts, but have you actually tried this one long enough to obtain results? It is possible to obtain results from this workout. However, it might just take a longer time to get it. I do agree that other workouts can help obtain the same results much faster.

Your form is wack man. You move your arms and neck WAY too much. Moving your arms up towards your knees while you crunch makes it easier. And when you are doing oblique crunches you are moving your legs way too much. Aloso, those weak ass leg lifts DON'T target abs. You NEED waist flex in order to target your abdominal muscles

The best way is to either cross your arms over the chest or just touch easily on your ears while doing the exercise. But! Try not to bend your neck too much as most people do while doing sit ups...

You can get 6 packs, but they will still be buried under the fat. It doesn't matter if you burn the fat before or after getting abs, but they won't be really visible until you do. Although, you'll still be able to feel them beneath your fatty stomach. :P
Depending on your age and maturity depends on how difficult it will be for you.. I went from 250-150 and I still have belly fat. I did this running. I had the idea that lugging my weight around. Agreed. To everyone here there is no such thing as lower abs. The entire abdominal muscle is contracted when doing any ab exercise. To everyone who thinks there is you have A LOT to learn.
when you are doing crunches, or sit-ups for that matter, don't use your arms to help get momentum. Just keep them still. It Makes the workout more effective because you are engaging your abs and not your arms. Other that that, your work out was really good.
If you meen the lower abs then I prefer to do leg raises. Those he did on 2.52 mins. I advice you to do them slowly, GTLKOmaniac does them a little to fast to my opinion, but this is a great exercise to train your lower abs.
Watch more of these video's because he got some good training variations!
Don't do it every day, instead one day exercise, one day rest, one day exercise, one day rest and so on. On the days of rest you could perform exercises for the other muscles like the chest and legs. Exercising is important but giving your muscles the rest is way more important.
i dont understand the oblique ones, it just feels like it feels when i do normal crunches, it burns accross the entire abdominals, i thought it was supposed to work one side more than the other?
hey luckynumber58. the reason that your back is burning aft these exercises could probably due to you arching ur back. try hunching ur back (shoulders of the ground) while doing crunches for instance, to remove the strain off ur lower back. hope this helps. =)
the reason he got back problems is because of trying to impersonate this kid. all you need to train are regular crunches. flat back - only strive to push your SHOULDERS StRAiGhT up to the roof dont keep head so tight against chest. hands behind neck for a LITTLE support

did ok with this video but I 'd learn to keep my head down more or you'd make what they call forward head ... but the idea is right also on leg lifts you can bring them up off floor hold for 10 sec then spread the legs apart hold for 10 sec's then back together OFF THE GROUND and then apart etc.. works them good.. this summer I will have some videos' online of my work out been doing Bruce lee's workout for 25+ years now.. just need time to make the videos and show what a 55 yo looks like :) FIT

for the leg lifts instead of just holding your feet there move your legs up and down about 2 inches without them touching the ground.

You can get 6 packs, but they will still be buried under the fat. It doesn't matter if you burn the fat before or after getting abs, but they won't be really visible until you do. Although, you'll still be able to feel them beneath your fatty stomach. :P

Depending on your age and maturity depends on how difficult it will be for you.. I went from 250-150 and I still have belly fat. I did this running. I had the idea that lugging my weight around. I would have alot of muscle underneath. But your burn muscle when u diet and exercise :( Well im trying to get 6 pack abs now and its alot harder than loosing weight. But if ur over 16 it will take about a year of hard work to get abs. It took me about 6 months to loose 100 pounds and that is very fast.

Thats true... if you are healthy. If you are Obese your metabolism is normally very high or very low for men. Women can be anything. When you change your diet and exercise. Your body burns carbs first and then fat and muscle. The only way it is possible to loose weight and keep muscle mass is to keep exact same or equivilent diet and workout. Almost no one keeps that when loosing weight. Even if you do that it takes forever to loose weight. Like 50lbs a year.. most people have relapses.. so 2..

when you exercise anaerobically you use the energy inside muscles (ATP)and glucose mainly, you don't break down the muscles. you tear them, and they repair themselves and grow back stronger so long as you give them what they need to do that. you only break down muscle for energy if you're completely out of any other type of fuel, like glucose, carbohydrates or protein, and that only happens when you are starving yourself.

sorry for calling you stupid...but it is proven that you do break down muscle whether you have glucose or ATP available in your system from muscles you arnt using, thats just how the body decides to work, because of cortisol which helps your performance,that happens no matter what cause muscle is rich in energy, and yes you do tear muscle but bits do break off thats why you see an increase of whitecell activity,it collects the free radicals floating in your body which have broken off your muscle

in answer to lens129 if u want to get that 6 pack or 8 pack u need to do some sort of cardio coz u can only get as far as a 4 pack from doing ab exercises. im 13 aswell and i took up skipping to get my abs as well as ab exercises

when you are doing crunches, or sit-ups for that matter, don't use your arms to help get momentum. Just keep them still. It Makes the workout more effective because you are engaging your abs and not your arms. Other that that, your work out was really good.

If you meen the lower abs then I prefer to do leg raises. Those he did on 2.52 mins. I advice you to do them slowly, GTLKOmaniac does them a little to fast to my opinion, but this is a great exercise to train your lower abs.

Don't do it every day, instead one day exercise, one day rest, one day exercise, one day rest and so on. On the days of rest you could perform exercises for the other muscles like the chest and legs. Exercising is important but giving your muscles the rest is way more important.

hey luckynumber58. the reason that your back is burning aft these exercises could probably due to you arching ur back. try hunching ur back (shoulders of the ground) while doing crunches for instance, to remove the strain off ur lower back. hope this helps. =)

the reason he got back problems is because of trying to impersonate this kid. all you need to train are regular crunches. flat back - only strive to push your SHOULDERS StRAiGhT up to the roof dont keep head so tight against chest. hands behind neck for a LITTLE support

did ok with this video but I 'd learn to keep my head down more or you'd make what they call forward head ... but the idea is right also on leg lifts you can bring them up off floor hold for 10 sec then spread the legs apart hold for 10 sec's then back together OFF THE GROUND and then apart etc.. works them good.. this summer I will have some videos' online of my work out been doing Bruce lee's workout for 25+ years now.. just need time to make the videos and show what a 55 yo looks like :) FIT
