I expect that their quality can replace dismemberments, the blood and gore that was characterize NG.

Otherwise, you screwed the franchise.

the worst thing about ninja gaiden 2 was the modern rocket launcher enemies. so what do they do. MAKE THE WHILE GAME HAVE MODERN ENEMIES. no one minded the sam fisher guys because there was a good ratio of mythological to modern enemies OUT THE FUCKING WINDOW. toned down difficulty no more over the top cartoon violence

I don't see why some people are complaining about this game. It looks just as good as all the other games if not better. It looks like it's even more story driven and we get a even more depth look into Ryu. We can even decide his fate. Combat looks really fast like it's suppose to be and we may have something cooler than the essence system. Multiplayer looked cool though!

The only thing i can say after watching all the vids currently out for NG3 is that the fighting looks boring as hell. Seems to be the same repetitive bullshit moves and attacks. This is a HUGE PROBLEM. Other than that, the Original Plot Writer and creative producer is returning for this to bring back NES characters and a unique storyline. This game is gonna be amazing :D

and wtf is all this stealth bullshit?! I play ninja gaiden for the feel of charing headfirst into throngs of zee villains and killing them with the most finely tuned action combat system out there. I didnt see him block once in the first 2 and a half minutes! SLowing down the action all the fucking time to execute an opponent and zooming in for all this close up bullshit just makes the combat look less fluid.

Im negative because that their is no dismemberment or beheading, and you absorb the dragon sword in your arm, and their is no demons or fiends in this game that you can slaughter. I dont care about the story, some fiend wants to cast the world into darkness, and you have to save it fine by me. But I just wanna grab the legendary dragon sword and defeat demons thats all, but that seems lost in this game : /

NGB had no dismemberment, relatively no excessive gore, yet it was a masterpiece. Then they fucked it up in NGII. Why should I have reason to believe that NGIII would be good?

This one feels more ninja-ey because you actually get to perform stealth.....like a real NINJA, and you're not just some guy in a suit running through a hail of bullets all the time. Hell if thats the case why not just take Kratos and give him a sword, it works to the same effect really, I like the idea of slitting peoples throats and going unnoticed

@ss6truks That's the point though. Ryu assumes the role of a samurai, not a Ninja. We already dealt with that concept all the way back in the first Ninja Gaiden game for the xbox. The gamers have accepted that and there's no point in discussing that issue. What I'm concerned about is the frequent dumbing down of the game and poor story/concept. NGB I half didn't know who the fuck the black dragon was. But I was amazed by the mythology and backstory. NGII you have CIA vs fiends wtf

@ss6truks The story was horrible and they really did a great job of watering down the theme and mysticism that surrounded NGB. Werewolves and vampires? How is any of that japanese lore? I spent my entire time dismembering creatures without paying attention to any of the game. And the challenge scrolls seemed so forced. I much preferred NGB's subtle but still important challenges. Overall the entire series is going down the drain. I'm losing my faith in todays gaming.
