Mondo's, Duke's and Ellis' levels had memorable music. The rest? Not so much. But this game? Brings back memories. I remember when my friend first got a Playstation and this game. I was FLOORED at the graphics and how fun the game looked. My favorite girl is Ellis and my favorite guy is Kayin. Good videos, man. I need another Playstation!

you meet him, he has no picture in the VS screen, then the epic music, a crazy stage which looks like the entrance to chaos

and this fearful looking boss with strange arms and this awesome voice

Hey!!! I have this game too! I finished it many times in every difficulty level... the only thing I never done in this game is playing as sho... but now I know the cheat code, AFTER MORE THAN FIFTEEN YEARS!!!

I remember sucking sooooo-OOOO-ooo much at this game... took me about hundred tries to beat the whole game... then i realized the option to set special moves in the R2-L2 buttons... PFFFTTT.... oh well : )) goood memories.

Know what I find funny? I just realized these characters in BAT are somewhat like the ones from Street fighter.

He has a Double Rekkuzan, both Eiji's Hishouzan and Kayin's Deadly Raise, Kayin's Shoulder Crush and Eiji's Ryuseikyaku and Shuugekidan. I'm not sure if he has Kayin's Scottish Moon (Gekkousen as Sho). He has Eiji's desperation, renamed Bankimoshyuuken as opposed to Eiji's Hyakkimoshyuuken, but his hidden move is totally unique, the delayed Hishouzan with the stars surrounding him. He also had Eiji and Kayin's throws, depending on if you use HS or HK to execute them with.

I remember this game, man gaia was so cheap and i only got to sho once in my whole life time.

i tryed to do the cheat to play as gaia but i faild so many times that i took the game out of the play station and threw it at the wall so hard that it shattered.

I remember Ellis the most,the music and he stage was nice and calming.*And I died most there XD*

I freaked when I found that there was another boss after Ellen because as far as my knowlage she was the last character.

I believe there is a third secret character that is well hidden. On a CD player, place the Battle Arena Toshinden game on and listen to the song after Sho's Song, a funky clown music appears as another song. Could this be another characters theme song? :o

Indead, there is another character. Now guess...it is Earthworm Jim. But he just has the abilities of Rungo. No special own moves. As I remember you get him through a cheatcode. You get a funny skin and that funky music. Just search on Youtube for it and you will see.

Can I play ass the last boss char? When I played the game, I complete the game with all chars but I didnt unlocked him.

You need to enter a cheat and two controllers to use him.

First, at the title screen as the menu words slide across the screen, you have to press Down,Down/Left,Left,Square. That lets you play as Gaia. You have to enter that to play as Sho for some reason.

Then let the game go to demo mode. Press start to end the demo. When the words slide across the screen again, press left,right,left,right,left and square to unlock Sho.

To use Sho, at character select, go to Kayin and press down and square.

In BAT 2&3 He Has A Suicide Move But In BAT 3 They Changed His Projectile From 2 To One Hits. But Also In BAT 3 You Need To Some Kind Of Special Move Where Does Some Kind Of Spiritual Move Where You Can Do The Suicide Move.
