in the aircraft industry, they most definitely use laser cutters , as they can acheive much tighter tolerances than plasma, to to within .002"

@djjosh333 actually laser gives heat affected zones ... so we should not ... using waterjet is an option ..

I know that they use automated cutters for jet engines but I was wondering wether it was plasma or laser
