Thank you for visiting my home land, I went up mt tom (as it is named) but we as the real natives to this homeland have a different name for it.; as a young girl we camped back up there, and it is so good to get to our traditional homelands.
Thanks for posting...I was in the Eastern Sierra Nevada for a Geology field course and spent several days at the White Mountain Research Station in Bishop....Every morning I would be greeted to a magical view of Mount Tom...Such a majestic mountain!!
Great video! My brother and I climbed it up from the Rovana side at about the same time of year (October), although it was about 5 years ago. That had to be one of our best adventures. We came down the Horton lakes side and got back to the cars (via hitchhiking from the Buttermilks) at about 10:00pm the next day.
Great video. I lived in Bishop 25+ years ago--and I always wondered what it looked like up towards the top of Mt. Tom. Hope you include other trecks around Bishop, too. Thanks!
Thanks for posting, scheming on climbing this in a few months with a couple good friends

@747todasky No, have not been there but I know where it is and hear they are building homes right in the path of previous avalanches - yikes!
