  • has anyone tried the new 180g vinyl pressing? any good?

  • @ollyk22 I didn't know there was a new one? I know it came out on vinyl originally but at the time I didn't have anything to play it on.

  • @MarkPMus think it was released in September. Includes a seperate bonus 7". Check out ebay for an easy purchase.. Money a bit tight atm so would like to hear from someone that it is a good pressing!

  • @MarkPMus Money a bit tight? I feel the pain, you & me both!

  • I'm not an engineer but I think the waveforms would look quite similar provided you used a high bitrate. 320 is highest I think. By the way it is the less dense the better for a good uncompressed recording.

  • @MarkPMus I would try importing an uncompressed wav file.

  • @buddybopper They were uncompressed .aiff files(Apple signed native CD format) - Logic even imported the K15 version straight off the CD.

  • Mark would the same song in mp3 format have the same dense waveform?

Are u a sound engineer? By the way.

  • I have K on Vinyl and CD. I loved those guys back in the day. They can really jam!

  • @buddybopper They are still making music! Check out StrangeFolk (2007 album) and Pilgrims Progress (2010) if you haven't already. Masterpieces them both!

  • @MarkPMus K now available on Vinyl from 'Music on Vinyl' label. They are also releasing Peasants Pigs and Astronauts.
