Cantering bareback is easy when you have the balance and the right bond with your horse. i started to learn in a closed space so the horse has no where to go when/if i fell of and we haf gradually moved on to jumping some fences (70-75cm)..You just need to get your place on your horse first
How do you learn how to canter bareback if you've only had real cantering experience in the saddle and bad experiences bareback? I almost always lose balance whenever we do stirrupless.
The timetells, it's actually harder to canter with out stirrups in a saddle then to canter bareback.

If I ever get a horse, I'll try to remember this stuff. :)
