  • Avant garde!!

  • His style seems to be similar to Oscar Peterson's here.

Tatum was more of a stride/early jazz pianist, I think.

  • Probably he's the Manny Paquiao in piano jazz during 70's to 80's? ...as an Asian prodigy Bobby Enriquuez did his best. No matter what others say he's brilliant. And in his later years he accepted the Lord Jesus as his savior according to what had been recorded about his life.

  • @EPesq60 Uh...well he was Christian from the beginning, not later years.

He just turned born-again, that's what happened.

  • @Santosificationable thank you very much your kind follow up information, God bless!

  • Umm, not exactly the style of Art Tatum.

  • did he purposely play this in F sharp or is the key changed because the tempo was digitally altered? the original is in F.

  • A wild man in the style of Art Tatum. Brilliant in his own style! Not elegant jazz in the style of Bill Evans or avant garde but still brilliant with his piano percussive usage (use of his elbows and fingers)! Improvisations may not be conceptually deep as there is no outside playing or develomental improvisation) but still brilliant! Kudos to the great Bobby Enriquez!

  • Coooorooo..oool....

  • HE IS A WILD MAN!!! WOW-O-WOW

  • proud to be pinoy!
