  • I actually remember this when it originally aired, thanks!

  • Back when Friday nights and Saturday mornings where worth watching as a kid!!

  • Yeah there were so many good cartoons that we grew up on(kids of the 80s) i loved pup named scooby doo and flintstone kids

  • any chance you could upload the whole thing, not just the Larry and Balki segments?

  • Vintage Channel 6 WBRC ABC

  • Friday and Saturdays were my favorite days in the week when I was a kid. No school, TGIF, and Cartoons.

  • "Whoever posted this is God." Or I guess I should say boochibabe is God. :)

  • Whoever posted this is God. Thank you so much, its the closest experience to having a time machine. *sniffs* Miss Saturday mornings so much.

  • I loved Saturday morning preview specials! This video puts a huge smile on my face :)

  • This brings back sooooooo many good memories!

  • *sighs with a tear* I miss shows and times like these! The technology wasn't as good, but when you think about it, was that such a bad thing?

  • cool. I slightly remember seeing this. Do you know where I can get a dvd copy of this?

  • *sigh* I miss the Saturday morning preview specials just as much as the Saturday morning cartoons themselves. I loved getting to find out what sorts of new awesomeness I'd get to wake up for.

  • is it possible to get a full copy of this? I have other Saturday Morning Preview Specials available for trade.

  • awesome video Bronson is cute in this video

  • larry sounds like dante from clerks

  • makes me wanna be 12 years old again. Perfect Strangers on friday night, and cartoons on saturday morning.

  • Yes me too I was of course 10 in 89 but still loved the cartoons on ***Saturday!!!***

  • I miss the classic Sat. morning preview shows that aired on Fri. I couldn't wait for Sat. morning and all new shows!!

  • wow just wow

  • I love when they're laying on the couch in opposite directions and then they get the idea to eat cereal like you would on a Saturday morning. :) Love it.

  • So that's how we solve global inflation, by making sure there's a needle on the pump. Somebody call Bernanke!

  • Fonda, Brando, Stewart, Pinchot, Linn-Baker. It doesn't get better than that.

  • i love these old tgif..and u can so tell this is an original by noticing no damn station label in the lower right corner...those were the days!!!!

  • The mid 80's (ABC, NBC, CBS) through the mid 90's (FOX KIDS) was the best era in children's programming EVER! Good times, man. Much better QUALITY-driven stuff than the mindless tween dribble kids watch these days.

  • @CitySon You can thank/ blame the federal government for the downfall of Saturday morning television. In 1996, they mandated that all broadcast television stations must air four hours of educational/informational programs a week. That's why all the good Saturday morning shows were dropped by the late '90s.

  • @FutureNewsAnchor I don't think that went into effect immediately. Fox Kids still aired its weekday and saturday morning cartoons even though they were declining and ABC had One saturday morning which ran until the early '00s. I think NBC was effected and CBS was effected but it definitely wasn't until much later. Not saying you're wrong but I think it took time for all the networks to drop it at once. NOWadays it's like you said where it's all educational

  • Thank you for sharing this bits of pure gold with us. Ahhh, memories.........

  • That was cute, thanks for sharing it!

  • haha. cute.
