I remember a shorter version of this when ZIP codes were instituted. Bits of the damned song have been stuck in my head for years. In Newport News, they still have those plywood Mr. Zip standees in at least two of the post offices.

The men look QUITE a bit older than the people they are portraying (the guy with the black bushy eyebrows looks suspiciously like Bob Dole)...
