That Audi deserves a bigger turbo, those Audi motors are good for 1000+ hp and with Solid lifters = 10k RPM. Nothing beats the sound of the Audi 2.2 5 cylinder.

@burn21991 it's not suprising. for me i never paid attention to it when i was driving, half the time i was goin too fast to really have a chance to look down lol. i wouldnt worry about it though. if it starts gettin up there off low starts (when you're doin a regular slow roll) i'd take a look at it.

The GTR is probably using PFC, which you can set to say, 4000 rpm limit launch, and what it mean is, when you are standing still, the rev limit is at 4000 rpms and until launched, will not go over 4000 rpm. Its a controlled launch.

It's a type of launch control. It makes explosions before the turbo to spool it up at the start line.

lol, it´s called "launch controller", when your clutchs pushed down the rpm limit gets lower (a giver, or a button connected to the clutch pedal initializes the launch function which then lowers the rpm limit too for an example 4-6000rpm pending on when you get your boost/spool...). This allowing giving full throttle with a low rpm limit builds up some boost, when clutch is released the low rpm limit dissapears and you leave with good boost built up.

And whats that supposed to mean? RB26:s from R32 to R34 are allmost indentical in parts. Power is same. Pre R32 block is the strongest factory OEM block (not including N1 and GT blocks). Only good thing that comes first in mind of R34 engine is the steel bladed turbines that can handle more boost than R32 ceramics.

One more thing.The Skyline Gtr is 2600cc with 1430kgs.The S2 Avant is 2226cc with 1569kgs.

A mid performanced engine is approx 2-300 hp/liter.The cc different is gives to the Skyline minimum 100 extra hp and the Audi is heavier with 230 kgs.....Not a question which one is the winner.
