I loved this fight and the many others like it. They were more than just brawls, they were clashes of ideals between characters. Seeing this reminds me of the conflicting morals and codes that they all lived up to or strove for.

@BABYgates324 They are roughly equal. Captain Marvel doesn't have the range that Superman has (heat vision, ice breath), and his powers are somewhat less varied. However, Captain Marvel is powered by magic (which Superman is vulnerable to) and he is even more invulnerable than Superman is.
They've both beaten each other on various occasions, so there is no clear winner.

The characters spent more time sweating, staring intently and speech making, the most dangerous foe they ever faced was a fat child who turned people into candy - Superman is literally a cultural icon - there have been some bad stories and some silly villains because of bad writers, but on his WORST day.. Superman could literally take a breath and BLOW the saiyans away.

@dreed100 Anyways if you watch the fightscene here you would easily see the differences between the two. For one in the DBZ fightscenes they start getting knocked through mountains. In this they fly into a building thats it... In DBZ goku could send someone flying show up at the other side and knock him in a completely different direction. Superman isn't doing that.

Fact goku teleports around, can create clones, has 4 (possibly more now) sayan forms; and has several moves capable of blowing up the entire planet.

When one object moves faster then the other it doesn't reveal that till longer distances; hense why a race of 3 meters will probably tie even if one is an olympic runner while other is a high schooler.

@drsinister07 Yeah, i am more of a Marvel fan myself. I think i relate a little more with Marvel because their characters are more complex with more diverse storylines. Batman is truly the only consistantly great DC character to me, yes i'm a fan of Superman and all, but lately it's more for nostalgic reasons than his modern day impact, Flash is a darkhorse for me, one of my DC favorites. If DC and Warner Bros. really wanna hip Superman to the times, bring Darkseid or Doomsday to the big screen.

@BABYgates324 They are roughly equal. Captain Marvel doesn't have the range that Superman has (heat vision, ice breath), and his powers are somewhat less varied. However, Captain Marvel is powered by magic (which Superman is vulnerable to) and he is even more invulnerable than Superman is.
They've both beaten each other on various occasions, so there is no clear winner.

The characters spent more time sweating, staring intently and speech making, the most dangerous foe they ever faced was a fat child who turned people into candy - Superman is literally a cultural icon - there have been some bad stories and some silly villains because of bad writers, but on his WORST day.. Superman could literally take a breath and BLOW the saiyans away.

In this they fly into a building thats it... In DBZ goku could send someone flying show up at the other side and knock him in a completely different direction. Superman isn't doing that.

When one object moves faster then the other it doesn't reveal that till longer distances; hense why a race of 3 meters will probably tie even if one is an olympic runner while other is a high schooler.

When you see energy attacks "bounce" off characters in DBZ its not because they are more "physically" fit its because their chi is more powerfull. Superman's chi is quite weak; in fact he is only able to manipulate it 1 way; shooting lazers through his eyes. Thats a huge disadvantage towards a gigantic beam capable of blowing holes in planets. Let alone a bomb

Energy attacks bounce off super strong characters. Since Superman is physically much stronger than goku (fact that sups can lift 2 million tons minimum and travel almost at light speed in vacuum. goku limit is ten of thousand at super sayian 3 which is fact as it is stated in manga) then kameha will bounce off like it normally does.

@ollfriezallo stronger and stronger and stronger. Frankly I think its retarded and annoying; characters should never be that powerfull. But at least it makes sense with him having aspects of gods rather then superman who is just an alien.

He has the aspects of several gods; including zues magical abilities (magic which superman is weak against) strength of hercules which is on level with superman, speed and flight of mercury which is faster then superman (on level with flash I believe), and super intelegence from some other god I don't remember... All in all hes just the product of some crack head trying to make characters

Since WB can't seem to get a Shazzam movie of the ground, maybe they should introduce Captain Marvel in a Superman sequel, it would be cool if you had that and a Darrkseid and Apokolips scenario where they are threating to destroy earth and Superman just isn't enough alone to take on the powerful forces of Apokolips where he and Captain Marvel are forced to join forces for the sake of mankind, that could be freaking EPIC.

@karioka2 Dog you missing the point, i'm talking about the possiblities of a great movie storyline. One thing Superman can't seem to do lately and that's conquer the box office and captivate people on the big screen. As powerful as superman is, he's nothing compared to the likes of Spider-man, Batman and the X-Men on the big screen. All i'm saying is we need more than just Lex Luthor and General Zod on the big screen, surely you have the common sense to agree with that. Darkseid or Doomsday.

@drsinister07 Yeah, i am more of a Marvel fan myself. I think i relate a little more with Marvel because their characters are more complex with more diverse storylines. Batman is truly the only consistantly great DC character to me, yes i'm a fan of Superman and all, but lately it's more for nostalgic reasons than his modern day impact, Flash is a darkhorse for me, one of my DC favorites. If DC and Warner Bros. really wanna hip Superman to the times, bring Darkseid or Doomsday to the big screen.
