  • uMadBro??

  • McCain doesn't care much about the Vets healthcare..

  • If this is called "mad" in US you should watch Zhirinovskiy

  • Obama said no lobbyist. Then y are they in his cabinet???

  • @mbenzgt - Why did you not learn how to spell properly?

  • How is Mccain mad?

  • @lyle603 I'm sure u accomplished soooooo much in ur life ... Can't wait for 2012

  • Wow, McCain kinda verbally kicked his ass with that last comment, lol.

  • loserrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Boy do I wish we had this American hero as our president now. Obama and his minions are gonna get thrown out!!!! IMPEACH!

  • @oarcrazy2802 I guess all the interns better burn their dresses ... the republican's witch hunt has started again. How was leading the hunt last time ... Ohhh .. twas newt .. who was at the same time cheating on HIS wife with an intern.

  • @ETericET k

  • Yeah...I would have been pissed if I was being interupted that much to be honest.

  • wtf is wrong with him!?!?!? BAHAHAHAH

  • What a fucking asshole. I don't remember the exact time, but the Senate allocates something like a minute and a half for presentation and lobbying speeches. When that douche keeps interrupting, I'd be confused if any senator wouldn't be mad.

  • McCain owned him lmao

  • I'm MAD, too....I think McCain had every right to get mad..He was being interrupted when he had the floor; of course, dems don't recognize the rights OR WISHES of anybody but themselves. That was obvious when they passed a healthcare deform that 70% of Americans DID NOT WANT.

  • @arslp Baucus was very wrong for interrupting him. A lot of people play off his temp. But dont be too hasty to blame dem. for all of the unfair play, repub. can be just as nasty when it comes to being loud and obnoxious while someone is trying to talk as well; ive seen it too. As far as the healthcare bill. I like it. And yes Ive read what it consist of. Most of the people who disagree are extreme conservatives so that doesnt surprise me & most dont know that much ab it either.

  • @porsche62689

As do I. As a small business owner, this legislation is structured to turn healthcare into a single payer system. After a time, you cannot change your own policy at your own expense, you will be monitored if you keep private insurance. I only have 1 employee - me - & I pay my insurance. I don't need the govt. to check on my insurance. I've cost them nothing over healthcare, so why is it their concern?

  • @arslp I have quiet a few family members whom live in Canada and benefit from their national healthcare. I personally do not mind paying the tax as long as it helps for the greater good. :] Id rather know I am helping prevent sickness in my community that may potentially spread to my children. As a teacher I notice many of my students who have parents without healthcare are sick more often. They catch it at home and spread it to other students.

  • @arslp Contrary to what you may believe, when uninsured Americans go to the ER to receive medical treatment, most end up not paying their high dollar bills which leaves people like you ( I believe you said you have insurance ) to pick up the tab on your premiums. There are always underlying issues that many people do not consider; not insulting your intelligence by any means :]

  • @arslp I fully understand that you earn the money you make and want to keep it and most people do :] I admire your spirit when it comes to our economy; good to know you care :]. I enjoy spending that extra cash as well lol, dont get me wrong, I just would rather see my hard earned dollar go to helping a sick single mother who cant afford healthcare and is working a low pay job while still caring for her kid(s). (cont)

  • @arslp (cont) I hear people say "Well, those poor people are poor b/c theyre lazy and just want to leach off of the gov' and wealthier people" While that may be true for some, is not true for all. Ive seen very good kids do well in school, go to college, get degrees, and still end up on the bad end of the deal. Its not always their fault. Many people do try to make a better life for themselves but its hard to do when the 1% of the wealthy who have to power to keep the lower class down.

  • @arslp Medical professionals can concentrate on healing the patient rather than on insurance procedures, malpractice liability, etc. And Ive also heard one of my co-workers say, That's not fair, why should everyone have to pay for people who choose not to take care of themselves, such as smokers? While I agree partially with that concern i told him, "Its simple, there will be more people to work with for ways to treat and possibly cure cancer."

  • @arslp A Institutes of Medicine study concluded that more than 18,000 Americans die every year because theyre uninsured. Some kind of health coverage for every citizen would mean fewer child deaths from asthma, fewer cancer deaths in minority communities and fewer veterans who depend on emergency rooms for their primary care. The real questions are how universal care would be paid for and who would decide levels of reimbursement not the care itself

  • @arslp Health insurance companies strongly dislike this socialized medicine bill recognizing that any single payer plan would likely result in heavy losses for their industry. But in reality no major organizations or national political figures have advocated creating a system like that; like Great Britains, where the government owns all the facilities and employs all the doctors and nurses.

  • @arslp Somehow people got it in their minds that ALL doctors are against the healthcare bill; this is false. For ex. Patrick Whelan, M.D, Ph.D., a practicing rheumatologist, fully stands behind the bill. ou can find other doctors as well whom like the bill; people just need to search for the information and stop living by the "Fear what you dont understand and hate what you cant conquer." ethic.

  • @arslp You mentioned you were a small business owner as well. You will likely pay less; perhaps much less. If you buy coverage like you have today on your own, premiums are expected to drop by 14-20%. If you get coverage through your job, premiums could decline by up to 3%. Many Americans buying coverage in the individual market will qualify for tax credits that reduce their premiums by an average of nearly 60% and they will get better coverage than what they have today. :]

  • @arslp The Presidents proposal does not require that small businesses provide coverage to their employees. Instead, it provides tens of billions of dollars in new tax credits to small businesses to make it easier for them to provide coverage if they choose to do so. But seeing as how you are your only employee, what I said earlier about the insurance you purchused still stands. :]

  • @arslp As for the other factors, small businesses pay up to 18% more than large firms for the same health insurance policy. The independent and nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office found that with health insurance reform, premiums for small businesses WILL go down. Also, you will be protected from sudden, arbitrary rate hikes if a worker gets sick; because insurance companies will no longer be permitted to base the cost of coverage on health status.

  • @arslp Only large businesses who have employees receiving taxpayer funded health assistance will pay an assessment to help offset the cost of those "subsidies" you mentioned to the American taxpayer. Companies whose employees are receiving taxpayer assistance will have to pay $2,000 per full time worker. (This is less than half of the annual cost of providing health insurance to a full time worker today).

  • @arslp Also, a business is defined as large if it has more than 50 full time workers, not counting seasonal workers. The first 30 workers would be subtracted from the total when calculating the total amount of the assessment. The estimate is that fewer than 2% of large businesses will be likely to pay these penalties.

  • @arslp I also think that you mentioned something about not wanting your taxes to go up. Did you mean your personal taxes or your business taxes since youre self employed? I know many small business owners are convinced they will pay higher taxes, but your business taxes will not go up. Instead, you will be eligible for new tax credits to help offset the cost of covering your employees.

  • @arslp One of the most important issues included in the Healthcare Bill is the ban on what the insurance companies call rescissions (cancelling your coverage when you get sick). The ban wasnt scheduled to go into effect until September, but the health insurance industry announced that theyll be complying with the ban starting in May. The announcement followed a public outrage over news that Wellpoint, a major insurer, was specifically targeting cancellation on women suffering from breast cancer.

  • @porsche62689 There are some very good things in the health bill but there are some really stupid bullshit issues which is why there are so many arguments. I say take out all the bullshit and leave the good things about it, but I doubt that will happen, once they repeal the bill no one will both to re-write it (its too long and politicians are lazy). They'll just try to pass it again until it gets passed by a new democrat congress years from now.

  • 'This health care bill is a violation to US Constitution!' yeah because providing healthcare to all its citizens is something that the US government should not endeavour to try and do ?!!

Instead letting the super rich control - healthcare is somehow more 'free' ?

Many Americans are the biggest brainwashed suckers in the western world !!!!!!!!!!!

  • @eugenius101 And I also find it interesting that so many people smear Pres. Obama for the Healthcare Bill while Ive heard no mention of bitter feelings toward FDR who was in fact the first American Pres. to propose national healthcare in what he called a "Second Bill of Rights". Unfortunately, he passed away before he could carry out his plan which I believe would have saved many people and families from hardship we suffered from then on until today.

  • @eugenius101

That's the stinky part of it, or don't you stay informed? There will still be over 10 million people without healthcare insurance after the year that the senate and Obama spent on it. It probably won't cost most of you anything anyway, as it will be "subsidized" (look it up); and the cost foisted on the rest of us who work and pay taxes. 47% don't.

  • @arslp I have a niece that works at Wendys and she saw a slight raise in her taxes recently. Ive seen polls where it claims that people do not stand behind the healthcare bill in large numbers but you also have to consider who is being polled and if every single one of those people really fully understand the healthcare bill. I know its only my word but from personally asking people what they knew about it, most admitted they really didnt know much at all.

  • Why do people see it as a bad thing that McCain gets angry like this to, i would rather see some Damn emotion out of electedleaders than them sitting back. Rather McCain get angry when stuff is done wrongly then be a puppet like Obama.

  • @luke12191 because anger turns into to violents good example of emotion and anger speeches,

Hitler who used hate, emotions to feed on people and our country was not built on violents example the boston massacre, i think jhon adams defended the birtish soilder and won the case because A: act in violents on the british soilder and B:Amerca is not ment to be built on violents or hate speech.

  • @luke12191 Because people like moneyjr like to piss and moan about every little thing a conservative does. Yet, it's not the conservatives that do the violence. From the KKK (which was an invention of the Democratic party) to the purple-shirted union thugs from SEIU. They have the proverbial pole in their own eye while pointing out splinters in the eyes of others!

  • @miazagora "KKK (which was an invention of the Democratic party)" Im a 10th and 11th grade American Government and Political Science teacher; im just here to say that is incorrect. In fact, if you recall, what was then to the parties is the opposite now. The KKK belonged to the Democratic-Republican Party which was prominently REPUBLICAN. In other words, the Democratic-Republican Party used the same platform todays Republicans do.

  • @miazagora The KKK was founded in the 1865 by six Confederate veterans from Pulaski Tennessee. These are the same people who hold Tea Parties today; extreme conservatives. Not Democrats. The KKK was made up of extremist right wing hate groups in the US whose avowed purpose was to protect the rights and further the interests of white Americans by violence and intimidation; and to this day they still exist. Right wing is Republican.

  • McCain was given the time to speak the stupid liberal interrupeted him like the scumbag he is.

  • owned

  • OOOOOOOOOH PWNAGE!

  • he's not that mad

  • I don't think McCain is "mad" or acting out of line. Baucus kept interrupting him when it was HIS turn to speak. If you want to see MAD, just wait until November...nobody in Congress will be able to hide from the voters...nobody.

  • @miazagora is that a threat????

  • @moneyjr1122 Step off, jackass. The only thing I'm threatening is to march my little feet to the ballot box in November and vote these kooks out of office. Get a life!

  • McCain fires back at the drunk.

  • McCain is so old.

  • You are so out of touch with the American people!

You swore to uphold the US Constitution.

This health care bill is a violation to US Constitution!

Have you ever read US Constitution?

As far as Im concerned YOU dem's are FIRED!

    You are a HYPOCRITE!

  • @vaw32 tell me how does it violates the consitution in what way??????

  • @vaw32 im from canada, just wondering how the health care bill violates the constitution. just a question.

  • @1lastsoldier

Noon will be able to tell you how it violates the constitution. Because it doesn't. There is a new fad in America where people try to say something over and over again until it becomes true, weather it's true or not.

They think they can rile up enough people just by saying that it's a violation of our rights without ever having to prove it. They may be correct. Americans on average are good people. Not all that bright though.

  • @1lastsoldier

It seems that there are 20 attorneys general of states that do question the legality of this piteous legislation; and are filing suit. There are states that have already passed legislation to insure "private" pay healthcare. The panacea this was touted is false; pre-existing conditions ARE NOT covered; and we still have over 10 million won't be covered. obaminable mess!!!

  • @vaw32

Um... there's nothing in the healthcare bill that violates the constitution man. I always see people blathering on about this, but none of them ever state an article or section of the constitution that this bill violates.

I would suggest that you sir, are the one that needs to buckle down and re-educate yourself on American civics.

  • @Slipfeed i agree. In fact. The Constitution the Bill of Rights and the Preamble have such phrases as "promote the general welfare" and "to form a more perfect union" and thats just what the bill IS doing is promoting the general welfare of EVERYONE not just the 1% of rich fat cats that have run this economy with their failing agendas of capitalism.

  • @vaw32 How is the Healthcare Bill a "violation of the Constitution"? And please refrain from asking me if I have read it. I have the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, as well as the Preamble hanging up in my class room. Please elaborate on your theory; I am genuinely curious as to what you base your opinion upon regarding this issue, then I will be able to better comment your post :]

  • @vaw32

You don't want the government involved then get a non profit health care system that doesn't take it's cut outta the pie.... I'm serious ... Health insurance companies do not belong in health care.... FROM the very start there first objective is to avoid sick people!!! What a morally bankrupt system ... Avoid the very people that need the care.... LOL

  • He was mad because he couldn't prove what he was saying was true! Typical conservative ploy to distract people away from the obvious lying.

  • McCain is not a conservative, if any think he is a RINO

  • The point is, McCain is pointing out the under-the-table deals the Democrats are doing to pass ObamaCare.

  • I would like to see every no saying republican senator to vote against heath insurance? I cant wait for the next Election.

  • They did, and you're right, I can't wait to see the republicans clean house inthe upcoming elections.

  • john mccain's a strong fighter!!

    good job john! =)

  • @aznkent29

where was this strong fighter a year ago when we needed him?

  • lol wut r u trying to say? he's always been like that.....

  • Im not big on McCain but damn he raped that fool at the end

  • at least McCain didn't get pissed and call his wife a cunt again in front of everyone

  • oh no, mccain is sooooo upset that lobbyists are in his congress.

Then he goes out to lunch with a pharma lobbyist and learns why its good to subsidize research into a new penis pill instead of aids research

  • Obviously Obama isn't.

  • GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

  • Get em Big John. If you would have had that much spunk on the campaign trail we wouldnt have a lazy, incompetent socialist in office now.

  • Just another pinhead talking through his butt.

  • McCain has always been a HOT-HEAD!

Who he should be angry with are the Health Insurance Company Lobbyists who managed to get more than $100 MILLION DOLLARS to buy whores in Congress over the last 5 yrs.

  • grandpa is at it again!!

  • fuck u McCain go and kill your self Cindy bitch

  • Telling Off John McCain

  • Max Baucus is trying to hurry McCain along so they can finish and Baucus can get back to screwing that whore in his office.

Shame, Democrats, what a moral lapse. Married Baucus Boffing Broads!

  • John has plenty of "lobbyists" that come to "see him" as well.

  • McCain was right

  • McCain? Thank god the people didn't vote him president. He is an irritable little old man sucking the government tit for a salary all his life.

  • I hope you aren't an Obamao drone, because that comment would indicate your hypocritical nature.

  • nope

  • Well, I guess your criticism is genuine.

  • No worse than say,Byrd or Kerry,or Frank,or...and the list goes on and on.....

  • Agreed

  • fucking moron. miss the point some more why dont you.

  • ...and your point is?

  • you call him irritable, yet completely ignore the fact why he got pissed off. typical, baseless hatred.

  • McCain is just another progressive puppet in my eyes, but he seems to be standing up on the right side of this HC bill. Is he growing a spine?

  • hahah, I was thinking the same thing

  • McCain is a fine one to be talking about openness!

His people kept Ron Paul from speaking at our Republican State Convention here in Texas despite the protest from me & others.

And they had closed meetings to rob delegates from Ron Paul in Nevada, Louisiana & other states.

He's a sneaky slimball who I can't wait to see defeated!

  • @DillonX he already was defeated moron

  • @DillonX

But he reached out to you guys after the RNC and you people practically gave him the finger. Ron Paul never helped out his campaign and ended up endorsing a 9-11 truther who thinks the south should've won the civil war. (and you wonder why people think RP is racist.).

  • Mcpain what an idiot.

  • Jumanji, that ain't the point.

The point is, McCain is pointing out the under-the-table deals the Democrats are doing to pass ObamaCare.

    ,

  • I hate John McCain as much as the next guy but this is normal behaviour from a Republican or Democrat
