Hi, I'm teaching about 30 students guitar each week and only have so much neural capacity to work out more songs...you've done a great job and helped me fast track this one!

Its really a personal preference. I honestly I think the verse sounds better with nylon, but the chorus sounds better with steel.

Very nicely done and thoughtfully explained. However, if you look at the numbering on the string packages when you buy strings, you will find that the 1st string is the smallest string nearest you leg and the 6th string is the thickest string nearest your shoulder. I liked what you did but found the numbering convention that you used slightly awkward.

Finally figured out the bridge. I've been able to figure out the rest of the song but the bridge was tricky for me. One small correction, though. Am does not include the open E string, from top to bottom it's like this: x02210

what i do is take the low E string and play the note on the first fret which is an F, then i tune it to that F note by ear.
