we are going there for the first time in December. We are really looking forward to our trip. Thank you for posting this video. We hope we enjoy it as much as you did.
my family is planning its very first vacation ever!! we are looking at the viva maya and i've heard very mixed reviews. this video is kind of swaying me in it's direction. do you think it will be a worth while trip??
It's a value for dollar issue. If you are able to get it for under $1000/wk/person - then it's not a bad deal. It's not a great swimming area. The grounds are great the accommodation nice. It is close to Playa del Carmen. However if you can book in the same price range, the Bahia Principe would be a better option. It depends on family demographics & interests & wants, budget, etc. There's a lot of factors to consider. Does this help?
I couldn't agree more on everything you said about the resort! I just got back yesterday and it was amazing! It was my 8th time at Viva Wyndham Maya in the last 2 1/2 years. For the money, it is the place to go!
