ps3 does offer alot more. i had a 360 and they did have alot of good games, but the RROD happened to me twice so i got rid of it. i now have ps3 and i like it alot more killzone 2 is better than halo3 and gears of war and uncharted 2 speaks for its self. the 360 is the better gaming console but the ps3 has internet, bluray and the online is free. that is all i have to say right now but ps3 has alot of more stuff coming out for it, oh the ps3 did come down in price form 399 to 299.

Again. Im taking sales. Low sales = Low publisher interest = Lack of titles. Look at the psp it started to happen. this is what spelled disaster for the dream-cast. The HD market is getting cheaper and Sony are not stupid, they have thei eye on it.

Within the few years PS3 will get a price cut making it a a more cheaper blu-ray option for consumers to buy, plus a home game/entertainment system. So it will appeal to wider audiences.

Microsoft are reducing there price every year and that's showing desperation. Which is actually showing something else too.

Ur looking at money as the main factor. Look at the games. Nintendo came out with no games. Xbox had Ninja Gaiden and gears 2 and the NXE. Sony had Little Big Planet, Motorstorm, Metal Gear Solid, Resistance 2, The Video Store launch, Flash on the web browser, trophies and Home. I think it took 2008. Javan is a fucking joke. 360 and PS3 had comparable software lineups, PS3 had a little bit better single player experiences and XBOX had much better multiplayer experiences. LBP, SOCOM, Resistence all suffer because people don't have mics for people that dont have both consoles; lack of mics makes such a big difference. Lastly Gears 2 sucked but for reasons Javan didn't state.

in regards to the price drop stuff, sony is looking even worse considering Panasonic finally made a reasonably priced, good (CNET editors choice), stand-alone blu-ray player for $250 ($150 less than the PS3 base model)

Anyways Point Being for NOW would get a 360 because it is an online party machine, for communication reasons. PSN will, in my opinion, eventually catch up to Xbox live standards. But until then 360 is the way to go for online, as long as you have the money to dish out for your Xbox Live Subscription.
