the 40d is a semi pro camera. it has many preset features and software upgrades plus speed over the consumer 400d you should take a look at the new consumer xtis on the canon websight. 12 plus megapixcels. remember that most websights like ebay have a 2 megapixcel operating limit. so youre 400d is still a great camera. there is many lenses you can buy to make a big differance on youre 400d. plus the lens are reusable when you upgrade. you dont have to jump on the bandwaging.

What, between a 400D or a D80, its the D80. If I had a choice between the Canon 40D and the Nikon D300 then I would definitly go for the Canon, but for my budget, a D80 would be much better than the 400D.

Yahoo ! I'm finally gonna upgrade I had the old old D30, now the D60, so this new 40D will be sweet I've shot tons of stuff over the years and Canon for 25yrs. I luv them ! ( sound is great turn up the sound on the video as well as your speakers and it will be fine) the guy is english hello, just listen ! ;)

maybe you should go to a doctor and have your ears check. Yeah, the audio isnt 5.1, but I could hear evrything.
