Well actually it was more like, any computer that could be able to run The Sims 2 WELL (kinda like mediu-high graphics with no lag) will be able to run SPORE in Medium/Medium-low graphics well.

Nope I have no clue, I don't eve know if it will be available on the mac, although WW said that the team wil make it in all platforms, up until now only the PC & DS versions are confirmed.

actually, Macs match PC's in almost all capabilities, except because you can't upgrade parts, they are generally for people who aren't expert on computers.

I highly doubt it. There is nothing extraordinary about the graphics. If you can run The Sims 2 I don't imagine you'll have any trouble.

Apparently herbivores do eat fruit and stuff, so... I guess that's about right.

Also, it looks like you gather resources and stuff in the tribal phase, and fruit/etc. seems to be one of those resources.
