You know what I like Bubsy 3d. It's not the worst game because I was able to win to perfection. There are much worse games than Bubsy 3d. Even though the controls are stiff you can still win. You need to be grateful that this game was made and not blame people. I liked the military march music. I remember buying this because I trusted the opinion of PSExtreme that gave this a score in the 90's and that Gold X it touts on the cover. The review is nowhere to be found on their site now though. I took this game back to Toys R Us and demanded they exchange it for another title.

I'm on my 2nd 360 in my old one died after 5 years. During those 5 years its had me using it to play indie games that mess the graphics card up to the point of destruction. Compared to the amount of time working my ex's PS3 took I'm glad I have a 360 and was fine buying a new slim lined one (oh yeh did I forget to mention my old 360 was a model 2 you know the ones made just after the launch consoles) lets not forget the trouble PS2's had at launch either.

Man Spyro and Final Fantasy VII made the Playstation the nostalgia of my childhood. I didn't grow up with the N64 with Ocarina of Time or Super Mario 64. The Playstation was the gateway into my life in gaming. So much good memories :)

PS1 graphics have aged so badly, even the 2D graphics from the SNES and Mega Drive look better, sure they're 2D but they still look good and in some cases very stylish.

There's unfinished stuff, and then there's just bad ideas. I have a feeling the awful graphics are a result of Acolade rushing this out too quickly; possibly to get it out before Bubsy's (mostly undeserved) popularity expired. However, nothing (save for an inability to program a camera, which is its own problem) can excuse that movement mechanic. Platforming characters should automatically rotate 90 degrees and walk in the new direction when you push left or right. Bubsy apparently "steers."
