Caliban is a bad example for emo in Metal because this song and their lyrics have nothing to do with emo.

But I tell You why today everyone associates Metal with Emo, search the video "Bring Me The Horizon - Chelsea Smile". I don't think I have to say anything about it, that band is more emo than it's metal and they sing about their girlfriends who left them but they are very popular for younger people that have no idea about Iron Maiden, Metallica or Megadeth e.g. so they think it's "Metal".
