he moved his muscles too much that lost energy aka oxygen. ex: his eyelids kept flickering he kept twitching his arms and shoulders throughout some parts.. i say he would've done 8 minutes but still not break the record.

Oh no houdini only held his for 3 minutes....
If he didnt have to exert energy which uses oxygen in the muscles to create atp (muscles energy) he may have of made it.
