  • tell me, who passes more accurate and better than him? NO ONE!

  • If I had wanted my jersey to be named, it would have been Scholes!

  • Master class, truly a legend, coming from an Arsenal fan.

  • "Best Player Ive Played On The Same Pitch With" Zinadine Zidanes Words

  • greatest player ever

  • isn't that rooney passing at 5:12?

  • @Francafu

Nope. Rooney I think was banned for this game and with the old style jerseys, they were numbered from #1-11. Scholes wore the #10 that I suppose Rooney would've worn had he been available.

  • @logybear86 Nope,it wasn't numbered #1-11,as you can see a number 16 in there.Still don't know why he was wearing the number 10 though

  • @triplehhhmytimewwf

Substitute maybe, I'm certain the players started numbered 1 to 11.

  • @Francafu rooney has ginger hair? xDDD

  • he plays football as if he is watching the game from the stands

  • World class.. Only xavi can match with him

  • @amish91 thank you

  • Beautiful... Scholes = Sat Nav

  • @ApExPrEdAtOr01 thank you

  • you cant get anywhere near him when hes on or off the ball. would sign paul scholes over xavi or iniesta anyday.

  • @TheFalloutCinema you're welcome

  • My Favourite Footballer

  • always be yourself. unless you can be paul scholes.

  • he is a legend of the game

  • please, never retire again

  • I just jizzed my pants....

  • Makes me proud to be ginger!

  • the best

  • The very, very best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • tbh, scholes is extremely underrated.

  • Zidane said Scholes was his toughest opponent and the best midfielder of his generation while Barcelona's Xavi , currently the finest midfielder in world football said Scholes was his role model and the best all round midfielder for the last 15-20 years and the great Brazilian Socrates said Scholes was good enough to play for Brazil ...need i say more ? He recently returned and United look different class , what a player .

  • I'm a Liverpool supporter but this guy has my respect.. His passing skills really is exceptional...

  • @KiFF6536 better than any midfielder u cunts have ever had

  • Phenomenal passer....Cannot tackle to save his life though..

  • 60 meters pass !! to him it's so easy, 100% accurate all the time ..

  • Xavi + Iniesta = Legend One and Only Paul Scholes..............Hats Off To This legend , the best player you will come Across for Generations,,,,,,,,

  • hahahhaha look at Rio 6:30

  • Scholes is so good he can even make Heskey score a goal 5:53

  • @hanifroyani bitch please, he makes Bebe score 8:06 ^,..,^

  • เปิดบอลแม่นที่สุดในโลก

  • from a chelsea fan!! "are u watching this Frank lampard cos this is what a central mid or attacking mid is supposed to football like u fraud" rant over!! by far the reason manchester united are not united anymore untill u find another scholes hahahahahaaha!!

  • @shimmyya11 Am hoping Tom Cleverley fits the bill...but why the hate for frank?

  • He looked better suited for Barcelona's football. They would have loved to have him.

  • the best video of him!!

  • Comment removed

  • The thing that really blows me away is the fact that after a while his trademark long pass would barely get a mention from the commentator, because he was so consistent. If any other player did one of his long balls it would have its own analysis on Sky Sports or MOTD. He is quite simply, amazing. Welcome back.

  • scholes y giggs dos eminencias del man utd.

  • Truly amazing. From a Liverpool fan.

  • it sounds silly but players are overly athletic now and base too much of their game on speed and being strong. What happens when your legs start to go when you hit your 30s, you have no class to fall back on like scholes. Where you think bale and walcott will be when they are 35 ?

  • @jo7dan119 bale and walcott are wingers thats why u moron not centre midfielders

  • @D4NG3R1993 giggs was a winger and coz hes so skillful he can keep playin on, but i doubt they will

  • @D4NG3R1993

You misunderstand him. He has a valid point about walcott. Giggs was an out and out winger remember. He has the class to fall back on.

  • @fallawe56

Guess you got your wish ;) I went to his testimonial he scored a banger

  • @felix8989

Xavi said scholes was the best centeal midfielder ever...

  • Well even for at least a half a season we get to see him play for one more time.

  • I could watch him pass all day long...

  • He's back...After coming on after 60 mins, Paul Scholes made 71 passes (97% complete), more than any Man City player in the entire game. Comeback.

  • @mrrandom111111 he also caused a goal

  • @mrrandom111111 daamn

  • @mrrandom111111 more then every man city player.. i read more of his stats since in this season that his average passing rate is 92% and he is running as much as carrick/m

  • @MusicaDelight

Passing range is class as always, but there's no way he covers as much ground as Carrick who covers the most ground of all our player in 90% of games.

  • @logybear86 carrick is rubbish mate...

  • @Claymore2408

Nah not at all.. He's not an outstanding player that's for sure, but he is a good player. The kind of player you need in any top side - good all-round footballer, tactically he's supreme and he helps us get the best from our more talented players. I could go on and on about things he does very well but the point is he's far from a rubbish player. What makes you think he is?

  • @logybear86 He is a good player don't get me wrong but to replace some one like scholes no way...He makes far too many mistakes in recent UCL games and that's unacceptable for a team of united's calibre...Fergy should have bought a creative midfielder back in 2010 some one like Ozil/Gotze would have made a massive difference.

  • @Claymore2408

Well he wasn't exactly the main culprit let's be fair, and he doesn't make that may mistakes, but obviously when he does they're highlighted more such is the nature of his role in the side. He's not a Scholes type I agree, he's more of a support midfielder, but we need a new talisman in the centre. Carrick I think deserves a lot of credit for the job he's doing in a two-man midfield often with tactically unaware players beside him.

  • @mrrandom111111 what is the name of the first song?Scholesy is the best player I've ever seen in midfield,20 or 37 years old,he will always be our mid king...great video

  • "In the last 15 to 20 years the best central midfielder that I have seen — the most complete — is Scholes. I have spoken with Xabi Alonso about this many times. Scholes is a spectacular player who has everything"

    - Xavi

  • Scholesy was just pure class.. Not even arguably the best long-passer in the history of world football! Many think that Beckham is a better passer, but Scholes' passing over the field is just amazing to watch over and over again! The rumours that Scholes would do a comeback for Manchester United the rest of this season made me smile the rest of the day!

  • Best passer of a ball ever to be seen.

  • on xavis level, if not better.incredibly underrated player!

  • @suz1408 Xavi is the best Spanish footballer of all time. Scholes ain't close to him mate.

  • @felix8989 taking into account that Scholes played in what was/is a better league than La Liga and his performances in his last seasons with his age in mind, Scholes was at the level of Xavi, but a different type of midfielder. A pure English midfielder, small like Xavi but a lot more physical. He was also a better finisher than Xavi is.

To be fair Xavi has had a greater career considering the three CL wins and a treble like Scholes. Still, Scholes has 5 more seasons than Xavi, let's see!

  • @felix8989 That's because he aint close to being Spanish. He's far better at football though.

  • @aseq2 You're an idiot. You're saying if Scholes was Spanish he'd be the best Spanish player ever? He wouldn't even feature in the top 1 English players ever, let alone the Spanish, who are a vastly superior footballing nation.

  • @aseq2 Top 10*

  • @suz1408 Totally agree. Extremely underrated. Just a natural passer of the ball.

  • That sir was a pleasure to watch

  • I could watch this for hours.

  • the most sensational thing about this video is the titus bramble goal flash at 2:46

  • Best midfield player ever.

  • 5.54 scholes made heskey look good

  • Great video...completely epitomises Paul Scholes. Had the pleasure of meeting the man in Portugal, in a waterpark with his family. He had time for everyone. A true legend, and true gentleman. If his tackling had improved, he wouldn't have been as feared.... Long live the best player (in my opinion) that has ever graced Old Trafford.

  • Never in my life have I seen a better passer of the ball than Scholesy... Please come back.

  • The reason Man Utd won the league last season was because of: Van Der Sar, Vidic, Scholes and Hernandez. They were all on peak form.

  • @seanmbrosnan VDS the defence rooney and scholes, the defensive ability and ball retention made manu win and then rooney up front doing something clinical, it wasnt hernandez because he did the same thing as berbatov, so it didnt matter, berbs dosent get played anymore because he is making a new squad fergies recycle, and he thinks welbeck and hernandez can both become more very soon, i agree mainly

  • i met paul scholes today at trafford centre... just saying

  • @Mccollfull No you never.

  • can someone tell me how he makes those passes? as in which part of the foot does he use

  • if only more english midfield players could pass like him

  • Next Manchester United manager

  • What is the song anyone knows?

  • @GoAlienUFO the song is 'time is the enemy' by Quantic. If you enjoy this then you will probably like a lot of stuff from the same record label which is called 'Ninjatune'.enjpy!

  • @nailedurmum01 Thanks a lot

  • Hehe, the first vid is the "No More Running" video that was banned. I've been wanting to see it. thank you so much.

  • my hero

  • love the first song, great video..

  • Scholes vision is so good that he anticipated the referee getting in the way on 1:01

  • Comment removed

  • xavi hernandez? :)) < Paul Scholes!

  • Glorious!

  • song name ??

  • Just wow. How Young and Nani would miss these passes.

His decision to retire is because he thought he wouldn't be fit to run throughout the match? Heck, just play him in a 4-5-1 with 2 ball winning midfielders to give him the ball, the wingers and striker will have a good day.

  • He can pick out an ant from 40 yards.

  • paul scholes was an utter genious, his passing, awareness and vision were as good as ive ever seen, if spanish would have been named world player of the year at least twice!!!!

  • SICK!

  • this is the manu player that pep guardiola most wanted, not difficult to see why even in the barca passing game

  • i dont understand why he didnt go to south africa, if lampard went surely hed go to

  • @camero56 He'd retired from international football; how could you not know that?

  • totally agree he is a genius where is vision and genius

  • Amazing video! I will miss him, and his passing skills

No thumbs down? No reason to make a joke about it then...

  • 5.54 - If you see someone play a ball that even Emile Heskey can score from *in an England shirt,* you know that player is something special.

  • look at vida, 6:32 LOL

  • Everyone talks about the quality of Scholes' long passing and undoubtedly there's a reason they called him 'Satnav'. But for me what really underlines Scholes' genius was his refusal to be idiotic with the ball. If a 5 yard pass was better than a 50 yard pass he'd choose the right option. Scholes' decision making and ability to keep the possession going was his key gift and its what England's national side have been shown as lacking at big tourney's since he quit international football in 2004.

  • @Crosshandz true, especially the part about England. Sometimes people don't realize what they've got until it's gone!!! And Man United are finding that out the hard way now.

  • @Crosshandz Exactly thats what makes Spain and Xavi in particular so good. Technically Gifted.

  • song name?

  • yee P.S. the best :P Legend of Old Trafford and MU

  • cheerio scholes, footballers will now be safe from your dirty cheating antics for good

  • Red Genius
