Re-read through everything and saw the C++ Library for BTSix crashing. Got all excited and installed it....Still getting the same problem.

The happens to me under Vista.

But I found a way that works for me, maybe it will help you too.

Right-click the BTsix icon, and "Run as Administrator", then press the "Address" button. It should give you a message that the "Master has been set", and then crash.

If you do get the message, take the cable out, then restart BTsix and connect the PS3 controller by pressing the (P) button without pressing on "Address again".

It didnt. Honestly, it isnt worth it for all the crap you have to go through, when there's a program called WinDS3 that does it all for you with no hassle, and syncs up on it's own after the inital pairing.

Ok, I'm missing something somewhere. I'm pretty sure I have the bluetooth dongle installed correctly because there are no bluetooth menu options or anything of the sort around. Also in the device manager it says FreeBT USB Driver. Under game controllers I see both PPJoy Virtual joystick 1 and PLAYSTATION(R)3 Controller. Whenever I load up btsix and click on Address, it crashes with "BtSix Application has stopped working". I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate x86. What do I do now?

@cloakeddog i Know i have done evrything but de movingbars are not moving. That means my controller isn't working. The tutorial is the same as this one and my Bluethoot dongle is a Sitecom CN500v2 still not working. I had a laptop and it worked fine with the integrated bluethoot. But with my dongle on pc it's not working.

Can you check with a different dongle on the same computer? It might be the dongle itself.

I have been lucky and my old Sweex 2.0 works.

You can also try to install the WinDS3. It installs the freeBT drivers flawlessly, also on Vista.

From what I understood on the tutorials, the dongle must be at least version 2.0, or it will not work.

@cloakeddog mine is 2.0. But when i use WinDS3 on the left bottom within the program, it show an sort of error. It says Warning HCI and LMP is lower then 3. Mine HCI is 2.0 and LMP 2.777 i think thats te problem. I dont know what HCI and LMP i have on the bluethoot in my laptop. My laptop is broken now ill try it with another dongle.

is there anyway to set up the remote so that the triggers and analogue sticks full function. For example in racing if you push the left analogue stick half way to the righ, it won't slightly turn right it will aggressively turn because it just acts like a button (turn right). Hi I got this to work perfect and all of it was working fine. Was even playing a game with it. Then the next day when I started my computer back up its not working. When I get into btsix and click address it just crashes back to my desktop. I haven't changed any setting. I even tried redoing everything. Anyone know what it could be? Thanks.

windows says my bluetooth dongle has more up to date drivers than fbt, so i cant install fbt drivers, cant open btsix and cant finish my installation, i am also left with a downgraded usb driver which now has all the old, not updated drivers and apps

lol noo, i used the libusb, but didnt know i had to run in comp mode, it crashed ALL of my drivers and all usb connectivity and blue-screen popped up anytime! bummer!

well you have to blug you ps3 out meanwhile. so that ps3 won´t switch on. and if you want to play ps3 and don´t want to use it with pc just shut btsix and it won´t connect

didn´t really understand what you mean. but yes you can use your ps3 wireless with this on your pc and qith the program xpadder you can configure your controller to use it like a wireless keybad in order to use it as a remote control for vlc player or else. just asign the vlc short-cuts to each buttom with xpadder and then you can skip tracks, change volume ect. with that wireless controller

make right klick in the file "libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.1­2.1.exe" then go on properties, then above you can choose compatibility mode and then you can selecet windows xp and then press ok. if you double klick on libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12­.1.exe then it will eb run in the xp compatibility mode.

Like I would record the movements with my computer while im using the 360... then i could replay it by hooking my computer and resending it back...

hm i installed it on two vista systems allready without any problems. i think your drivers arent installed propably. try to deinstall al drivers and try it new. if that doesn´t work the only thing you can do is to go to the forum (link in the informations) and read for solutions and ask there. Sorry i dont know too much about problem solutions i just know that like this it worked for me on 4 computers allready...

Hast du Vista oder XP?

Bei Vista muss man nochmal nen Häckchen setzen unter Erweitert, wenn du deinstlllierst, damit er die Treiber beim deinstallieren auch vom Rechner löscht. Evtl musst du die aber auch manuell einfach löschen, also per Windows Suche auf deine PC nach dem treiber suchen und löschen.

Du muss unter Systemsteuerung->System->Gerät­e-Manager alle Treiber die was mit Bluetooth zu tun haben vorher deinstallieren. Also die vorherigen Treiber, die evtl. mit CD beim kauf dabei waren dürfen nicht mehr installiert sein. Also einfach im Gerätemanager auf den Bluetoothstick gehen --> rechter Mausklick-->Eigenschaften-->de­installierten

Nachher darf nur noch FreeBT USB Driver, was unter UBS Controller stehen müsste installiert sein. Kein ander Bluetooth treiber.
