  • it is against the law to be within a certain distance of a cop detaining someone.. the cops have every right to move the people from within that zone.. obviously in a general peaceful manner but if the person refuses to leave and continues to disobey they have every right to help them move away..

  • Continue to elect Obummer for Prez and Cuomo for Governor folks! Change you can believe in!!!!

Btw, for those morons who think it's always either democrats or republicans, you can go to hell too.

  • Justice isn't going to be done until someone goes to the top floor of a bank and starts shooting.

  • Photographer Robert Stolarik from The New York Times (2:05) should write an article about the incident. I think, in this country we have "Freedom of the press".

  • you've got the wrong people! the crooks are upstairs!! seriously, who do you serve and protect? 5000 occupy arrests, and zero bankster arrests??

  • Dick cop. Find his address and fuck with him. I want his badge number and name.

  • that photog was being a dick.

  • @YungB0211 NO HE WAS NOT. U ASS.

  • @Daphotocoach i guess i didn't finish but both of them were being immature dicks, but mostly the photog. And how am i an ass if i'm just stating what i think. They told him to back up and he kept acting like a little bitch and saying "dont touch me again." You don't hear the protestors acting like that, they don't think they're above the law. This photog thought because he has a press pass he could do whatever and whenever.

  • @YungB0211 Well duh! He had the right to be there.

  • @mcgeeb1215 he didnt have a right to be past the cops (where he was trying to get) then the cops started acting like dicks too.

  • @YungB0211 - Shows what you know about photography and what you witnessed (Your interpitation of this video) They were BLOCKING his ability. The police should have allowed him to "get his shots" - He had no need to get close with a lens like the one he had in his camera.

Problem is, cameras have not yet gained the ability to shoot through police cover ups. No doubt we are going to end up agreeing to disagree here.. The police were clear on their motive. To not allow coverage, period.

  • @Daphotocoach did any other photographer have problems with police...no! Lets just agree to disagree...this does not in any way diminish what I or what you know about photography. I think that the photographer didn't have to act like that in the beginning, i also said that the cop acted immature as well. Just no other photographer had problems and that shows something. Are you that photographer? because your calling me an ass like your him. And if thats you then you have a pretty good job.

  • @YungB0211 - Who made you the end all know all on the subject of who's being an goof, or how people should "act" when someone stops them from doing THEIR JOB! I'm like him, because I'm American and in America we have something called "Freedom of the press" - That police officer could hold him back "Maybe" but to block his shots was wrong. (At least you think the cop acted immature) When police try to block someone from taking photographs, I get a little worried. What is it, they are hiding?

  • @Daphotocoach It was my opinion that they acted like dicks in their own way. My opinion is my opinion, and your opinion is yours. There not facts just opinions. And again EVERY other photographer wasn't having a problem. It was an individual circumstance between two people. I would have been on your conspiracy side if the police were shutting all the photographers down or at least more than one photographer that was having a tantrum with the immature cops around him.

  • @YungB0211 - I have the law behind me. U keep your opinions, it's still a free country. They had no right to stop ANY photo journalist from doing their job. Tell us what you do.. so we can come stop you from making a living and see how you like it. It was not a tantrum, the man had every reason (On many levels) to be pissed.

  • @Daphotocoach okay. lets just agree to disagree. Im a college student that does street photog and freelance work in concert photography. So i understand photography. Just if someone like a security guard told me to leave if I was trying to go somewhere that wasn't designated for me during a shoot then I would leave because he has the right to kick me out.

  • @YungB0211 Look at 1:23. The livestreamer is being prevented from recording and showing what is happening.

  • @YungB0211 - Are you finished yet? What do you do for a living? Make sure you're finished because I still think you're being an ass.

  • the fat short potato headed troglodyte really embodies the whole nyc theme

  • he he.. danny devito just got RAPED by the photographer.. look at his face 3:44 he just shit his pants : D

  • Research this; on private property where people were allowed to walk through regularly, the owner cannot stop people from crossing on a whim. By this time, it has legally become recognized as a public walkway (legality varies from city to city). Now, these protestors are inside a building that is NOT a public place and ARE subject to arrest. Thank you.

  • Congress has an approval rating of 9% you really think Occupy is alone and a tiny minority in calling into question the way the country is run? i mean if only 9% of the country likes what is happening how are they even in power? they have all been bought and if you don't stand up for what's wrong so have you!

  • @DeepSouth16 Yeah it's not like I used the fucking internet to read multiple news stories that all had the same data. You're the one buying the bullshit, looks like your in the Marine Corps. Do a google search for "veteran unemployment," I work in a law firm that sues the VA to get benefits to people like you (well, better than you). You'll figure it out soon, you sound like your on your way to bankruptcy shortly, if you haven't already declared.

  • @DeepSouth16 Yes math: 2.5 million jobs, 14.5 million unemployed and you say "get a job"

  • Uncivil war is at hand.

  • Love Occupy. @Nassault630, thank you my friend. It amazes me how people are so blind. I've been "Occupying" since the '50s. No one cares what this government has and is doing. EVERYTHING is a lie. Why can't people wake up? Have the chemtrails completely clogged your thought processes? They need to look again at a video of the 9/11 "attack" to see just what is possible in this country. Buildings don't just freefall without pre-planted explosives. And that's just one example.

  • look at all of them!

  • 'm all for the protests but they should be peaceful. I've heard that retreat is more powerful than attack in some instances especially if your opponent needs to be careful about who is making the first step. If police ask you to leave, do so BUT come back to the same spot later or hit up another venue. The occupy in portland figured this out and have been successful.

  • Look guys you can do the "get a job" thing as much as you like (i have a job so does not bother me in the slightest we might listen to you if you can form an argument rather than act like uneducated children but do you think it is fair in a capitalist society that if a bank runs their business so band they become bankrupt instead of being bought out by a successful business it is the job of those who are not paid half as well as the bankers to give them the money to make more mistakes?

  • @OriginalCliche1 - I have a job too, many actually. They finally added the straw that is breaking the camels back. Good for them! America needs a major turn around and it's no doubt coming. Hopefully peacefully, but who knows.. people are getting pissed off, I hear it more and more everyday. We need the police and armed forces to "get it" and things will change. Armed forces support of Ron Paul says things are headed in the right direction. God Bless America!

  • @DeepSouth16 lol look how dumb you are. When presented with a simple math problem you can't even handle it and resort to the same old propaganda lines that are 20 years old. What a brilliant mind you have.

  • @DeepSouth16 I am so glad that you like A BOOK. Now you can try reading some others as well, Johnny Reb.

  • Here I could see the protestors getting tossed out/ arrested. This is a private space but to arrest the photographers is pushing America to a place that won't be easy getting back from.

  • @LesThanEver NO! It is NOT a private space, it is a PUBLIC SPACE. It's called a Bonus Plaza. Research it. Thanks.

  • tick....tick...tick...tick...tick...tick....tick...tick...tick....tick...tick...Our Time is emerging before your eyes

  • Well, the terrorists can't hate us for our freedoms anymore.

  • @saerit9 That's the YouTube comment of the year! Hahahaha.... Priceless.

  • @saerit9 I've never said this, about any sentence I've ever read on the internet, but shortly after reading your comment, I said, "That's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen."

  • @saerit9 Hahaha great comment. Ron Paul 2012 save the constitution and restore liberty!

  • When the oligarchy uses violence and intimidation, it only makes the movement stronger. Occupy Everything Everywhere

  • Its amazing how the government sponsored terrorism don't ever blow a Hugh bomb in the middle of all those pigs. Shit i forgot Obasterd don't eat pork and y waste it on the street huh???

  • ...You bring an IMAC to a protest? Really?

  • Ten years ago, a few people protested world trade in a much more effective way.

  • @craig2541

I support the constitution. They were in a private building so the owner had ever right to make them leave, even if it came to force.

I don't agree with high taxes or banks getting bailed out. I don't agree with any type of regulations on free trade either.

  • short fat pig thinks its people.

  • @DeepSouth16 You're too ignorant, just stop talking and read a book. I suggest you get educated before making rational statements.

  • i hope anon jumps on that motherfucker just like lt john pike. lets make the officers feel a little less safe and see how they like it

  • kill them

  • So pathetic that these cops would sell their souls for some pinheaded dimwit fucking Republicans that don't give a shit about them.

    Fucking sad.

  • @TheLeftyGrove They serve a democrat. An anti-gun democrat, in a democrat-run city. You sound stupid by identifying yourself on the party-line btw.

  • @xxxxAXIxxxx

Democrat does not equal left. In fact, the Democrats are just a different wing of the business party.

  • @xxxxAXIxxxx Where did I say party line?

"Liberal" or "Left" does not designate "Democrat". Idiot.

  • @TheLeftyGrove Here is a Herman Cain acronym for stereotype Liberals (S.I.N.): "Shifting the blame" - you said Republicans;"Ignoring the facts" - it was factually democrats; "Name calling" - me an idiot.

I argue that party does not matter, but as a matter of fact Democrats are responsible for allowing this behavior from the police (and many of the police are democrats themselves). They are the same to me, but my argument is in response to your dualist statement.

  • @xxxxAXIxxxx LOL, quoting a pathological liar for credibility. Hilarious.

The mayor of NY is a conservative, formerly a Republican. Please do keep up.

  • @TheLeftyGrove I dont base my credibility on a Cain quotation, merely letting you know that you fit in with his analysis quite well. I never said he was or was not a conservative, I said he was a democrat. Stop trying. The cops are and serve democrats, both parties are corrupt, you fit Cain's acronym. enough is enough.

  • The Cops do not work for the people anymore. They only work for the 1%. They carry their water. They do their dirty work.

  • This shit is bananas.

  • @DeepSouth16 That is one of the reasons they are protesting you fucking moron. There are no jobs. the other reason is that the government promised Americans that if wall street got a bailout the unemployment rate would stay the same. What a joke

  • Stupid fat fucking beaner cop. Mow my fucking lawn.

  • Is this private property? Because that fundamentally changes the entire issue.

  • @DeepSouth16 Only a fucking moron would tell someone to "get a job" when there are 14.5 million unemployed (by Obamas lying stats) and only 2.5 million jobs open. Read a newspaper you fucking moron.

  • @DeepSouth16 lol you obviously have just been watching tv you moron. OWS is pretty crystal fucking clear in their message and you'd have to be a total braindead moron not to know what it's about.

  • free speech, to be effective, does often mean disrupting a business or building..sorry -- see lunch couinter sit-downs in 60s

  • damm those cops are fitt weasels

  • bunch of fat fucks!

  • At the 3:00 mark, the guy with the camera... worries me.

  • @tensachan Why? Because he actually has the balls to call the police officer out on his blatantly illegal behavior? Because he's actually standing up for his constitutional rights instead of being bullied like a little bitch?

  • @heresywar Because he's got what looks like an NYPD logo on his shirt, and he's taping the journalists.

  • @heresywar - exactly!

  • @DeepSouth16 "GET A FUCKING JOB" What a deep, thoughtful response from someone with the username "DeepSouth." Would you like to know why most protestors who up on the weekends? BECAUSE THEY HAVE FUCKING JOBS, you stupid ignorant piece of trash. Go back to your hole, watch more NASCAR, and please DO NOT PARTICIPATE. We don't need you.

  • I am shocked at how the police officers are acting. Welcome to the New World Order. This is worse than the sci fi of the 80's predicted.

  • @DeepSouth16 You think that the protesters are "disrupting" this perticular business? This video doesn't show them occupying Mom and Pop's flower shop, it's the fucking WFC you dumb cunt. They've "Dsirupted" millions of people, fucked everyone over for years, ruining families, and you think this protest is "disruptive"? Go choke on a 9mm and pull the fucking trigger.

  • @Nassault630 The protestors "Dsirupted" far lees people than illegal foreclosures and the banks hauling in TRILLIONS in tax dollars.

  • @LesThanEver that's my point. Read carefully.

  • @Nassault630 Sorry if I'm repeating, I'm losing track of who I commented to and when.

  • @LesThanEver It's ok. There's a lot of ignorant fuckers that posts comments on here, so I don't blame you.

  • Fuck the police.

  • The one thing I love about Ameica is its hypocrisy. Just the other day, ol' Hilary was talking about not doing businesses with tyrants and countries that limite internet and media freedom. How they should protect the right of protests and how individuals should be treated humanely if they are protesting. God Bless your hypocrisy, America.

  • And also, the internet has definitely worked in the people's favor. News spreads instantly.

That dude was awesome with the two cameras, made me feel like saying "HAHA BITCH" to the officer.

  • I am totally for these guys but I kind of get annoyed when they just yell "shame" when someone is getting arrested. I feel like they should do more then just stand there for some reason. (Of course if the person is getting arrested for no reason) But It's the beginning of something nonetheless.

  • Thank you mr photographer for showing things the way they are. Bloomcorrupts personal army behaving like the Fascists they are -knowing they are on film. Imagine how they treat the Occupiers when not on tape? I hope that FAT COP chokes on a hotdog.

  • New York Times protest Fuck! You have a clear case of common law assault and battery. I am going to have to switch to civil rights law, it is a booming industry with the new police state.

  • is nothing what we can do ... !!

  • @gobiernopodrido You can file a law suit every time a pig touches you without your permission.

  • Bunch of fucking pigs

  • wait till their pensions dissappear

  • @thebachu786

    I give it a year.

  • F*ccking pigs are nothing but high school dropouts, wait till the squids steal their pensions any day now, probably still be stupid pigs.

  • It sure looks like there are a whole lot more cops than OWS folks there. Think some of those cops are going to be taking in well over $200,000 this year?

  • @missdoe2u i thought the same thing when anynomous and all that first became popular, i think they are going to find and arrest every person who put their name on that list due to the way things are going. this country is shot now, theres more police then there are protesters

  • this officer needs to try doing some bobbing and weaving in an aerobics class

  • why yell shame, the cops dont have any shame. its pretty obvious that they are there to protect and serve goldman sachs

  • NYT: Brookfield Deals With Protesters Again, but Not at Zuccotti

  • Obumbles soldiers getting arrested!! LOL

  • Doesnt the US police do regular exercises ? there are some really fat police out there.

  • Why don't you IDIOTS protest your retarded leader in thee white?

  • @grossedout100 Because morons like you need to open their eyes..

  • @grossedout100 because obama doesn't have total power over every business in the united states, you think he is a dictator?

  • 2:10 Man dude is really pushing it over with two cameras over one officer face,.. I mean damn!

  • Hey Look the Cops are having a protest. What are the Cops protesting here? oh ya free speech.

  • THIS IS WHY EVERYTIME A COP( MERCENARY) GETS KILLED I LAUGH MY ASS OFF.AND BELIEVE ME IF ALL THESE OTHER PEOPLE AROUND WERE PACKING THESE DISGUSTING PIGS WOULD NOT DARE PULL THIS SHIT.

  • leave it to hippies to bring a camera to a gun fight.....time to raise arms now before they start shooting...

  • @kimballmaster1 he's a working photographer that clearly has a press pass not a protestor you fucking idiot

  • I love all this talk of freedom, but what about the rights of everyone else? What about the rights of those who do not agree with your cause? What about the rights of people who wish to conduct commerce and use public space without interference? What about the rights of the people to hire officers of the law to maintain peace an order? We live in a society and your rights to protest do not supersede everyone else's rights to continue their lives as they see fit.

  • I love all this talk of freedom, but what about the rights of everyone else? What about the rights of those who do not agree with your cause? • oink oink

  • The dummys still haven't figured out that they cant stop ALL filming, And when ONE video gets out they look really stupid.

  • I grew up being told that America was a "free" country. I now find myself wondering what the hell they were talking about.

  • Counters on other OWS videos have been halted. It is 5:09 EST on Dec 13. Counter reads 309. Let's see if they are doing it to all videos of OWS

  • You stupid fucking cops realize what you're protecting don't you? Have some balls like the guys in Albany and stop taking these bullshit orders. I hope the photographer get's that idiot who was blocking his shots in trouble. READ THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE UNITED STATES CONSTITUTION YOU FASCISTS

  • Bloomberg's personal storm troops.

  • I really love how a photographer doesn't want a camera in his face, awesome!

  • When the Popo ask you to move when you're on private property... you move, done. It's not really difficult. That photographer was purposely using veiled threats towards the officers, it's amazing that they showed so much restraint.

  • This video should be titled "When Trust Fund brats go bad"

  • That photgrapher acted ignorant and confrontational. He is another typical "unbiased journalists" from the Old Grey Lady.

  • @randallvorisek it does not matter what he acted like all members of the press have the right to FREEDOM of the press under the first amendment of the United States Constitution and if you're an American i don't care what you believe and if you hate the New York Times you better believe in that freedom and not argue to protect the idiots trying to take away our rights as citizens.

  • @crayyawn

Private property is also protected in the constitution. He was in a private building. If the owner wanted him out he had to leave.

  • @Stillhi2 You are misinformed. It is a public space they were in. Fact. It is called a Bonus Plaza, just like Zucotti. Please research it.

  • The absolute meanness of these cops.

The quasi military arms of monied murdering freaks. What stupid violent NYPD. As a native New Yorker it is hard to see this Bloomberg luxury boat fascist colony of overpaid pigs who wear the NYPD uniform.

  • @EquaLRiiZeN You only attack my character because you do not have a strong argument. But, I have never tackled, sat on, handcuffed, abducted, and detained anyone when they had not broken the law.

  • is this what our for fathers wanted to happen oh wait country full of foreigners who dont care they all stole jobs from the ones born here

  • chanting shame doesnt make a difference.. everyone in this video are tools because they don't know how to stand up for themselves

  • Well, now we know why they like the fat ones.

  • I laughed when the protesters where telling the cops to not point the video camera on them. Amazing when the tides turn.

  • @mimamixon UM,,,,cops always video tape the protesters.

Time for you to catch up on your sass

  • My blood is boiling right now.

  • I hate police.

  • Oh my bad, I remember now. They were at the altar of Obama praising their messiah.

  • Where were these mindless robots when the Progressive Senate passed a law two weeks ago authorizing the police state and when Obama signed the executive order in January 2010 putting these actions into play\?

  • @bydesign001 Speaking of mindless robots, you actually think that the two parties have completely separate agendas? LOL!!!! Divide and conquer, dumb dumb.

  • The reporter should file a simple assualt claim because there were no exigent circumstances or reasonable cause for the officer to place his hands on him. The city will just write him a check to make it go away. Same thing with false arrests and false imprisonment, one might in return get a check with lot's of zeros on it. This is to avoid bad records of the offenses by the city/state/fed from being public record for eternity.

  • @wisku88keneda Do you think they really care about that anymore?

  • @paulrob55 Oh yeah theres a few people that can make a living off the settlements. Knew a guy that got 50,000.00 and didnt even step in court for false arrest.

  • Amazing how everyone complains about the police when it is these Marxist invaders who are disturbing honest hard-working trying to go to work and earn a living. Self zombies.

  • @bydesign001 You should look up the big words before you use them. ie: Marxist. You do nothing more than show your ignorance

  • Comment removed

  • This is how they're treating all the protestors, and with as little reason. Now stupid enough to do this to the journalists. Not a smart move. There is NO reason a police officer, acting as he is supposed to, won't welcome having the press there, if only to avoid any undeserved abuse accusations.

  • i love how the right wing makes this about party its not about party is about people.

  • ...SHAME!...SHAME!...SHAME!... lolz

  • To all the police who think they are somehow different from us and can violently abuse our rights as humans I say, watch out, because the world is going to change with or without you. Pick your side. If your not with us then your against us period. Continue your role as slaves while we fight for our freedom as human beings. We will win in the end.

  • always a joy to see leftist vermin arrested and taken to jail.

  • @usaeagle1776 always a joy to see right wing sheeple speak the words of fox

  • @usaeagle1776 you do realize those leftist vermin are fighting for your goddamn rights don't you? While you sit back on your ignorant ass and turn on the people that are on your side.

  • @crayyawn not my rights or that of any American. That is why OWS has not caught fire with the 80% of Americans who not leftist. We dont associated with communists, David Duke, rapists, drugs, violence, diesase other filth that comes with the OWS. I dont want my country turned into a socialist shithole. No thanks.

  • @usaeagle1776 You need help. Badly. Damned ditto head piece of trash. I love how ignorant you rethuglicans are. Here's where you try to tell me you're independent.

  • @PardonOurDust1 : You really need help badly. Instead of having your leftist vermin head up your ass, live in the real world instead fantasy. And no, I am not independent. are you BOY? ignorant DEMOCUNTS.

  • @usaeagle1776 Wow, your ignorance is glaringly obvious. You don't even try to hide it, do you. One look at your uploads and we all know how much of a "winner" you are. Ignorant asshat.

  • @PardonOurDust1 :ignorance huh? oh. maybe if I put up the rapes, drug use, the diesases, public defacations, violence, clashes with police during the OWS...would that be better to your liking boy? fucking dumbass leftist dipshit.

  • @usaeagle1776 Ah, yes, the talking points of a true dittohead living in an echo chamber. And in his mom's basement. You are so predictable.

  • @PardonOurDust1 ah yes, the truth that stings a libturd always. Bet that really pisses you off uh boy? Not in mommies basement and sucking her tit like you boy, and you are very predictable. pathetic.

  • @usaeagle1776 Wow, you are seriously trying to overcompensate for something. Calm down. Wouldn't want your mom to find you dead of a heart attack. She'll probably find you dead of autoerotic asphyxiation, but we all see that coming.

  • @PardonOurDust1 yeah, that "truth" sure is over compensating. Pathetic. Just like a brain dead kool aid drinking leftist, when faced with the truth, hurl the invectives. good little libturd...you do it well.

  • @crayyawn You're not fighting for my rights, you're interfering with them.

  • Thank God For These Videos Now Everyone Knows Well Almost Everyone How Fucked Up Is USA And Who Are The Real Terrorists Im An American Citizen btw

  • Comment removed

  • in response to reading through these comments, I have one thing to say: never mind the protesters. whether you are for, against or impartial to the situation, I find that the main focus of this video comes during the second half of the video. yes, the cops may have been "doing" their jobs, but seeing as they were preventing the press from doing their own jobs doesn't make the cops any better - or right in that matter.

  • Our constitutional- democratic republic is in serious trouble.
