I am an 11 year old child that owns a pitbull that was abused if you think pitbulls should be banned your brain is fucked up there is nothing wrong with pitbulls I know more people who have been bit by small dogs and labs than Pittbulls

I am tired of people saying bad things about dogs like mine pitbulls save kids more times than anyone cares my pitbull wouldn't let anyone harm me and he is as friendly as a teddybear to the neighborhood kids so lets start online petitions who is with me?

For an 11 year old, You are smarter than most adults on here. I praise you for being an educated person, Who obviously has learnt much about their dog.

You remind me of myself at 11. Thats when I began speeches on BSL. You could do this too. It is proven an adult is more likely to listen to an cute child who proves with love, rather than an adult who uses statistics.

Get speaking my friend. Together we will show them how our dogs are not dangerous monsters, but they just want a hug.

first even if they do ban pits the people who use them for dog fights will just hide them and keep fighting them

second pits only kill 3 people a year so statistically ur 90 times more likely to be killed by lightning than a pit so shouldnt going outside during a rainstorm be illegal too?

third the owners who dont train pitbulls properly so they do attack people will just get a new breed like a rott or sheperd or just breed a new version of the pit

Every few years or so, the media picks out a breed and goes after it. For no real reason, just brain washing the masses into believing shit.

There was this story about this man who was in this town. This guy comes along and hangs one person after another. Moral is "Didn't speak out for others, now no one can speak for you."

The legislation should be,

To ban bad dog owners.

If a dog is trained, cared for and loved, then there wouldn't be any problems.

The dogs shouldn't suffer because of incompetent humans.

This video says so much.... i'm all most crying!!! BSL makes no sence to me, it is not the actuall breed's falt but those individual dogs that weren't looked after propaly and not trained. most of all it is the irresponsible owner's falt for not taking the time to train there dog.... even teaching them TO fight. if only the government who r banning breeds could see through a dog lover's eyes. yes they r amazing dogs, i don't think they should b punished. it is the trainers and owners that made them wat they r. not themselves!!! how could it possibly b their fault?!? yeah and i think people should call them by their real name "staffordshire terriers" cuz "pit bull" sounds SO mean and destructive in which hardly any of them are. great video :)

Awesome video! Pit bulls are amazing loving dogs. And people shouldn't make assumption based on 3 or 4 dogs they hear about on the news. It's ALL ABOUT THE OWNER, NEVER THE DOG. No matter what breed! What makes me mad among the most, is the ignorance some people have. Ban the deed, not the breed!

You shouldn't blame the dog you should be blaming the owner just cause it was a pit doesn't mean anything. If it was any other type of dog would you think they should be banned? I know your answer is probably no so please don't judge them. It's not all pitts it's just those who have bad owners. Any trouble you have had with pitbulls is simply due to an irresponsible owner. Socializing goes along way with this breed. Every dog is an individual and should be treated so. My dog is my best friend and has had only the best , so she has turned out to be the best dog because of this. Only people are evil my boy.

@CodypennieandEfthemi ....My dog was also attacked by 2 pitbulls...he was almost killed, because of it though, the cops were able to shut down a pitbull fighting organization in the county I lived in. I use to be like you, but I got my eyes opened and am now a very proud pitbull ownerand couldn't imagine my life without my baby, becuz like you my dogs are are also my kids.

Great video, and so true...I love pitties and think they're a great breed, but now the majority of people think pitties are "dangerous" dogs...so not true. It's like saying that people of a certain race or religion are dangerous just because a few people in that race did something wrong -- it's NOT RIGHT! Thanks for making this vid. :)

I'm soo sorry. It's hard. It seems no matter how many experts, how much proof.. they won't listen because their too busied with their own personal prejudice, agenda, and bias. :( At times there are no people I dislike more than politicians.

I love this video! I hate BSL because it isn't the breed it's the person that owns the breed. Working for a Shelter I met so many loving Pit Bulls who wouldn't get a home just because of what they were. I live in a BSL city and I absolutely hate it.
