  • GAMING NINTENDO

  • dude, they should make a black metal mario with music like this on it!

  • Sweet shit. How do you make stuff like this anyway?

  • 1:07 - 1:35 sounds like what they should play in the credits when you beat the hardest rpg on nes

  • @Atticus246 I think it would fit the final battle actually :P

  • i wanna make a old school video game with a soundtrack comprised of technical metal songs in 8 bit. If only this was possible...

  • this would have been tight to be the original mario theme. haha

  • Eh, the blast beats are a little much

Its funny how deathcore sounds better as 8-bit than the original lol

  • 1:25ish to 1:35ish was my only complaint. I love the melody they play there and it's almost entirely muted out in this :(

Other than that, this is so fucking win

  • hahaaa lmao i can play this song on real guitar but damn this shit is funny

  • :')

  • 0:17 mario!

  • Comment removed

  • I've been looking at these 8-bit metal covers for the last hour now... I'm amazed. I'm a metal fan anyways, but I think that this is a way for even non-metal lovers to appreciate the complexities and nuances in the melodies of this genre of music. Also, the crash in this song is sick.. hahaha.

  • This could totally go for metroid as well.

  • guys this is in pokemon when you fight the gym leaders lol

  • @slajmkorn Dude imagine that, i'd be like wtf!

  • @slajmkorn Hell yeahh. Megaman is the shit.

  • @slajmkorn hahaha hell yeah!

  • if only these were on the super mario game=/

  • Best 8-bit i've heard yet.

  • Angel Island: Act 1

  • +47 internets, sir.

  • @Cairnivore No it's not

  • yaw it is. this is constructive criticism that it could be improved. not just insults. at 2:00, there are harmonies missing. at 1:04, rhythm guitar has 5th and 6th strings open, then 5th and 6th strings 12th fret. (disregarding rhythm)

compare it to the real track and youll see. i have studied this song and know it inside and out. im just saying that this 8 bit could be even better if everything were accurate

  • To be fair though, there are only so many tones you can play on an 8-bit maker. Due to the fact that it's only 8-bits, the MIDI (or whatever format compression) only allows certain amounts of channels playing only certain amounts of instruments and tones all at once.

Of course it could have been better, but if you're going to be constructive, know the craft in which you're critiquing. Twighlight's always got the goods when it comes to 8-bit covers.

  • we don't care, really. we're just listening to the song. and we really, really don't care that you "studied" this song.

  • we don't care that you don't care about my comment. and we really, really don't care that you dont care that i studied the song.

  • CLEVER.

  • omg true greatness has arrived

  • This is seriously so fucking sweet.

  • amazing

    what program do you use

  • some of it is wrong tho. sorry. at the 2:00 part

  • the blast beats are sooooo much win

  • that's fucking awesome. haha

  • lol nice!

  • This is really great. Keep up the good work!

  • wow, the begining breakdown sounds incred.

Do you compose and tab these out yourself!

  • I just use GXSCC to convert the files to 8-bit.

  • Everytime I use it, and drag a music file to it, it says, "unknown file, cannot play"Any help?

  • Are you using midi files?

  • How do i get midi files?

  • I get them from Guitar Pro.

  • @xTwilightxxPrincessx What's GXSCC

  • @xTwilightxxPrincessx I have the program but how do you convert the mp3 into a midi so that you can use it on GXSCC?

  • YAY!
