theres another version of this more properly done, sung by toshi. that sounds more official(i don't know if even that would be), but this is definitely not done by xjapan, though it sounds very similar.

Mhm, I guess it is Pata or someone else, but not hide, since the single was released after hides death.

But I'm not sure about it, haven't found any information about who plays it on the internet.
