  • Also you want to eat atleast 1gram of protein per pound you weigh

  • Aim of nutrition: giving your body regular sources of protein and carbs (every 2-3hrs) carbs for mental and physical energy and protein to help repair muscles. Remember to drink a gallon of water a day and fruits/capsules like creatine for amino acids

  • Water

  • right on, I love this, I wish i had a personal trainer that would force feed me because my metabolism is soo fast that I will never gain weight unless i constantly have food forced down my gullet. its like a work out just to prepare all the food i have to eat per day.

  • Thanks a bunch

  • pizza pizza pizza lol

  • What if I eat 3 times a day but a lot of protein?

  • Humm :x

  • 8-12 reps are better for muscle gaining (hypertrophy), 4-6 reps promote more strength and density.

  • I lost like 26 pounds on p90x. I did not really bulk up though. now i been trying to bulk up. i haven't been doing no where near as much as i did in p90x. should i do resistance (weight lifting) 3x a week and cardio in between? Because i have gained 9 1/2 pounds back. =(

but will cardio make me smaller?

    plz reply

  • This IS exactly what I wanted to hear. I already knew how to bulk up, but hearing it from someone else just gives that extra motivation 

  • @soothingrelaxing123 ur soo right

  • @soothingrelaxing123 do you eat 4 meals a day or 5-6 and im hard-gainer with fast metabolism, Ectomorp(hard gainer) please respond someone :)

  • Great tips and just one thing i would like to add is that fat yes helps with calories for bulking and evening out your energy levels helping staying fuller for longer, but it also plays a big part in the production of hormones like testosterone which i have found on a person level using 50c 20p 30f split. I <3 nutrition

  • it's Dot, from Reboot!

  • thnx for the info am bulking up trying to get at lest to 180

  • very good ,sound like expierienced bodybuilder

  • when i train heavy with low repetitions i dont feel any aching, does this mean my muscles are not going to bulk or is there still a chance of bulking? help please.

  • @MRMERKEM how long have you been doing the same?

  • @CaribFitness Me Too!

  • after bulking up..most people are left with a bit of a belly..in order to lose that fat you'd need to do a lot of cardio also known as the cutting phase..but then why would you gain that extra fat in the first place and then later work your butt off burning it when you couldve just not ate that much..? reply is appreciated guys

  • @LBJTV i guess because if you want to create more muscle mass on your body, you need to train with heavier weights. you can only do that if you have enough energy to lift heavy. the energy has to come from foods, so yeah..you really need to eat a lot.

naturally your body is going to store some of that energy as fat.

you CAN train and eat less, but the results will me less too.

  • @LBJTV You have to eat enough over your TEE (how much your burn a day) to where you will still gain muscle but not put on fat at the same time.

  • is it ok to workout 5-6 times a day if you focus on one muscle per day?

  • That is great advice !

  • Great advice

  • @CalumJoshFrance: If you are not looking to spend a lot of money going to and from a gym, I would just do incline/decline push ups, diamond push ups, and sit ups. We take those for granted, but they really do help and it's free.

  • jewish dike, what a combination

  • I appreciate you trying to help but I would check your facts. Olive oil and canala oil are not ideal in cooking foods. You have to consider they are low heat oils. Coconut oil is a much better choice. Als oanother thing to coniser is GMO's and excitotoxins. they are very valuable sources of information and can help change your concepts of nutritional health.

  • @Guardians888: Even as coconut oil can be used in cooking foods, it is really bad for you in large amounts. Have you even just removed coconut oil from a bottle and see how fast it actually solidifies. It's like concrete. If you are serious about working it all off, go for it, but if not, that shit is going to be clogging up your arteries. It's a heart attack in a bottle.

  • u r good tnx

  • You have to gain weight (fat) to gain muscle. Is very simple you just need more calories on a day than you burn on a day... Shouldn't be so hard for Americans :P

You need to be in calorie suplus. Just look at bodybuilders, they get fat in the winter and cut in the summer.

  • @MrIrock4life you dont need to gain fat to gain muscle they are two completely different things .. its just whilst you are eating loads of food to gain muscle a little fat comes with it .

  • @MrIrock4life your a fucking idiot and you have no clue what your talking about..gaining fat and gaining muscle are two completly different processes. stop posting ridiculous comments

  • @DetectivScrout Yes they are to two different processes, but you WILL gain fat, when you gain muscles, because otherwise you would not be in calories suplus, and if you aren't in calories suplus your body don't have the energy to build the muscles bigger... And I guess you're an American :P since you got that fucking mad.

  • @MrIrock4life sorry i must have been on a period that day or sumthen..but dude u can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time if you work hard enough and your nutrition is good, its mainly the constant supply of amino acids that will rebuild and make the muscle bigger/stronger

  • @MrIrock4life Fat does not turn to muscle......

  • @Alltimelow8161 Ofc not, let me rephrase, in order to gain muscles, you need to have a bigger intake of kalories than amount of kalories you burn, otherwise the body wont use energy on muscle building.

  • Is it not 1-5 reps per. set for max strength and less mass, and 5-12 reps for max mass and less strength??

  • i just rubbed out to this video.

  • why talk abadly about skinny peaople, we all have to start somewhere. Arnold schwartzeneger wasnt born a body builder.

  • @YouAlreadyKnow2 yes he was

  • @YouAlreadyKnow2: Negative. Are you Sarah Conna? I was told that she wrote this.

  • thanks lady

  • thanks!!

  • SHES SPOT ON!!!!!!!

  • Theres a reason why professional bodybuilders do high reps, but all the nutrition is correct.

  • nice tips bitch!

  • @giugnhgbvinierngvb89 sad fags like u r still on youtube GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE u the bitch

  • @2pkjs1351 hey asshole, go shove another banana up ur ass. thank u.

  • Low repetition, heavy weighs. So how much rest in between sets?

  • @linfongyu Not that much.

  • @linfongyu: 5-10 seconds.

  • every time, no matter how attractive a woman is on youtube, if she talks to the camera, someone is going to think she's hot. wtf

  • Dam she is a hot SEXY milf

  • Great tips, but dont diss the light weight (10-12 reps), because there are 2 types of muscle fibres, you want to work both for maximum size gains, working heavy alone you will only hit fast twitch fibres

  • great tips bitch

  • great tips thanks

  • ok advise, I guess

  • What if you don;t have weights? Can you do Calisthenics instead?

  • @xxxhd1 Calisthenics are not the best way to pack on mass, but it is better than nothing. I recommend at least getting a dumbbell set, and adjustable bench and a pull-up bar that you can attach to the doorway. That way you'll at least get a decent resistance workout.

  • @NJnaturalBB Okay thanks :D!

  • @xxxhd1: If you are looking for a cheap way to build muscle, I would at least get weights. I find that using calisthenics to your advantage actually can help you build. muscle You know a little about push ups right? Do the diamond, incline/decline, and regular versions of it. You should be pretty good after that.

  • @arviagent13 Oh okay thank you sir!

  • @xxxhd1: Yeah. I would honestly suggest that because this was my first day back into actually attempting to workout. I hate going to the gym because it seems to waste time going back and forth. With weights and the decline/incline push ups I had learned from my friends' p90x dvd, I felt sore which is the first step in building muscle. Should be good enough.

  • @arviagent13 Hmmm is it possible to stay ripped and gain muscle? If so, how?

  • @xxxhd1: There is probably a point where you max out. At the point, I think you can just maintain your ripped-ness. However, if you do not keep it up, your skin will be sagging when you are older because of all the stretch the skin had to allow when you had the muscle.

  • @arviagent13 Ooooh. I'm 16, 5'6 and 127 pounds lol. Yeah, how bout you?

  • @xxxhd1: 21, 5'11, and 155 pounds.

  • @arviagent13 Ooooh you duhhh sexxay.

  • @xxxhd1: I wish man. I mean I am a bit chubby because I still have more fat than lean muscle, but I am working on it.

  • @arviagent13 you wanna be friends on Facebook?

  • @xxxhd1: Naw dude. I have no idea who you are. We'll just be friends on here. That cool with you?

  • @arviagent13 Aww man. Okaay.

  • @arviagent13 Mmmmkay

  • she is smarter then most meat heads in the gym

  • thanks!

  • you forgot to say something, when you say trin with heavy weight, u didnt mention to train with perfect form.

lets say a guy with do biceps curls with 25s with good form, but he can do 30s but its gonna be bad form, u better do 25s. you need to keep the good form when training with heavy weight.

so its the heaviest weight you can do with the perfect forms

  • @houssein99 If you're lifting extremely heavy you're not going to have PERFECT form.

  • @houssein99: Whether you do them correct or not does have some impact, but it is not necessarily true. If you do a workout and you feel extremely sore or it burns, you know you did it right.

  • @houssein99 Optimized form not perfect. Standing 100% still, and only moving one limb is not the way our body was build

  • Isn't a " Level 4 " personal training qualification just a way of adding a grand or 2 to the certificate ? Just saying.

  • she is kinda hot!

  • @paranoidandroid3232 bot at all u freak

  • She'd be pretty hot if would loose that boyish monkey haircut and that boring clothing style.

  • @GritCityDisciple she's a professional, not your everyday whore.

  • @aMSkEes So a "professional" can't look good?..

  • @GritCityDisciple well define what you mean by "look good". Most professionals don't wear clothing that draws lots of attention, the only ones that do are young minded people and entertainers. If I want advice from someone I'd ask her not someone with there tits hanging out.

  • @aMSkEes By "look good" I simply mean attractive. And Im not talking sleezy-skimpy-playboybunny-good looking, just a little sense of style and femeninity. But I'm not telling her what to wear, I just pointed out that she's a bit of a diamond in the rough.

    I see your point tho.

  • @GritCityDisciple Thats just how she looks right now, you don't see her on a reg or knbow how she dresses when she goes out...I look completely diff in casual clothing than work attire...Also, the point of the vid is for fitness not looks...but I'd hit lmao...anyway, I appreciate the advice she gave...

  • @GritCityDisciple

You'd be pretty hot if you weren't a fucking moron.

  • @ph03n1xamb1t Thanks yo!

  • she might know her nutrition but seriously, she hasn't got a clue when it comes to training,

to put on size you NEED to be in the gym 4/5 days a week, and you NEED to be doing 3/4 sets of 8-10 reps, looking at 3/4 different exercises..trust me, qualified personal trainer

  • @murderof NO! YOU NEED TIME TO REST YOU FUCKING RETARD!! shes knows more than you....seriously.

  • @stefdopekid sorry, are you a level 4 qualified personal trainer? no. sit down, shut the fuck up and change your background from a ganja leaf, no one is going to take you seriously. twat

  • @murderof .....coming from the guy trying to correct a nutritionist? AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAA. your a fucking joke! Stop leaving your retarded comments on this page and using up space little girl :)

  • @stefdopekid no, coming from an award gaining qualified personal trainer, that specialises in bulking up and muscle gains, correcting a nutritionist. as it stands, i think i'm slightly more qualified in gaining muscle mass than a 'nutritionist'.

if you insist on trying to correct me, i suggest you prove to me you know a hell of a lot more than i do about the industry.

    consider yourself 'pwn3d' ;)

  • @murderof I agree, you're wasting time that could be spent training If you go only three times.

  • @murderof that depends. If youre doing a full body work out every time, 4/5 days a week is totally overtraining.

Youre talking about bodybuilding splits, working a different muscle group, once or twice a week at the most.

You are talking about a whole different world than the girl in the video, hes referring more to programs like Starting Strength, and other full body stuff.

  • @murderof What certification do you have, just asking? Your right, but she isn't referring to a bodybuilding program, shes talking more about Rippetoe's SS, for beginners that would be watching these videos on YouTube.

  • @murderof: If you do incline/decline, diamond push ups with appropriate repetitions to the point of soreness as well as bicep and forearm curls, I really think that would be good enough to put on lean muscle. If you want to be a bulked up individual like arnold, then yeah.

Rest is also very important because recovery time builds the muscle torn in workouts.

  • everythink is right she sais but if somones skinny i dont think they would be able to cope with heavy weights at 1st but iits nuffink to be assamed off cause i was like that myself

  • but what if u don't eat too much of the energy foods, and u lack energy, but u force urself to do the workout anyway. is that really bad? or is it ok?

because i'm still doing the workout, but without the energy i should have, it may be bad right? i doubt it lol i'm doing fine. just gotta have willpower i hope XD

  • @DJOpaixMusic dude dont workout without eating enough. you will burn off body mass when you dont eat enough....eat a lot.

  • @DJOpaixMusic: You are going to be a strong skinny stick of an individual. Almost like a tree trunk!

  • @arviagent13 i'm fine with that. i just wanna be fit not bulky :)

  • i want more specifics on the diet part. how much

  • yea tell ronnie coleman this.. never did 6 or 8 reps lowest he ever did was 10 reps.. im pretty sure he has made results LOL

  • @MrsRandomMadeMeDoIt no ronnie takes everything there is. he is a steroid freak and would have gotten no where without them

  • @donotreplyify Go write a book on word, not on youtube. Burns dont have to be a page long.

  • @HXCpr0n Lots of muscle doesn't really mean all that much. I'm tall and tank, and I dont work out. I just eat and sleep bro :)

  • Yeah she look very fit..did not listen!

  • @HXCpr0n lol that was awesome, "even though I have no vids so believe me because i'm on the internet and i'm right" either you are just trolling or you actually are like that but just insecure still cause aMSkEes has a point, you typed in how to bulk up to pick on people? lol sounds like you need your confidence boosted lol we all know you're really a scared, sexually confused boy that needs a feeling of dominance and masculinity by picking at people in the safety of his home

  • @donotreplyify Yes. I am trolling! You just won the game

  • Remember when you lift heavy, lift smart and focus on the muscle you are working out, and never break form for the heavy weight you are lifting or pulling! Injury's are the worst thing that could ever happen and will put you out for months of training

  • right 100% about the diet part, I don't agree about max 8 reps tough...

    3x15

    4x10

    4x12 all equal hypertrophy.

    5x5, 3x6, 1rep max = strenght training.

  • Im sorry but youre giving information that isnt completly accurate.. first theres 3 types of muscle fiber .. Type I , Type IIa and Type IIb each specialised and responding to DIFFERENT type of training muscle that are beeing used every like forearms and legs tend to respond better to high repetition but then again if u only do that.. u wont stimulate the lower concentration of other types of fibre.. youre dietician and u know what ur talking about just not about the type of exercice XD

  • @lordbahari yea i agree, people will have a mix of these types of muscle fibres, which in turn will be stimulated by a variety of training techniques.

  • LOL AT ALL YOU WEAK SKINNY PEOPLE I'm 14, 6'5" and 256 lbs. My 1 rep maxes are 365lb on bench, 576lb deadlift, and 492lb squat. Skinny losers beat that. I'm the strongest 14 year old on teh internet.

  • @HXCpr0n No, you're the biggest idiot on the internet....Why are you looking at bulking video's if you're the strongest 14 year old on the internet? your a jackass and a liar...LOLLL

  • @aMSkEes I came here to diss all of u skinny fails here that suck at lifting weights, unlike me. Yes I lied, I can do 405 on a good day on bench rather than 365 even though I have no vids so believe me because i'm on the internet and i'm right

  • @HXCpr0n Not only are you a idiot, a jackass, and a liar you're also a low life. You went out of YOUR WAY to type bulk up in the search engine to make fun of skinny people??? Holy shit, get a life. If you're so big and bad, act like it...quit acting like a low life that doesn't get the attention he wants.

    smh at this rookie

  • @aMSkEes shut up u jealous piece of flabby panzerotti. I AM big and bad. I just came across this video looking at some other pathetic bodybuilders and powerlifters who have worthless progress and 1 rep maxes compared to me and I just feel like laughing at all the people with terrible genetics, unlike me. I can bench 225 for 39 so beat that and then talk to me fool

  • @HXCpr0n owned the bitch ;D

  • @aMSkEes lol pussy don't respond to tha tough guy in town eh?

  • @HXCpr0n HAHAAHAHAHAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH.........AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAH....HAHAHAAHHAHAHAAHHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA

  • Listen to her, god damn kids

  • thanks christine very informative :-)

  • BULKSWORTH LOL

  • this is crap, every idiot knows this including her

  • Thank God there are captions. Her very thick accent is so damn hard to understand.

  • @RyanKHS06 weight gainers are only necessary if you are not getting enough protein in your diet in my opinion because of the vast amount of ingredients that are harmful to the body even though the product is to help you. Creatine isnt really necessary to bulk, it mostly give just a little more energy in your work out then normal is what iv been told. You can bulk up with natural foods if you just stick to a 1:2 protein to fat ratio.I have gained 10 lbs in the past year and i dont use supplements

  • @silent0hexx0 then thats why your gains are so minor. Ive put on 5lbs in the last 2 weeks. Weight gainer and creatine help you put on mass. Along wit 4-5 meals a day.

  • this video is great and u talked sense...i am into proper bodybuilding.....i wanna know something...I am taking maca products long with amino acid capsules.....do u think this is good enough and also should i start takin MAP(Master Amino Pattern) in my supplement list... It wiil be helpfull if you can mail me on akul_singh@yahoo.com

  • this video is great and u talked sense...i am into proper bodybuilding.....i wanna know something...I am taking maca products long with amino acid capsules.....do u think this is good enough and also should i start takin MAP(Master Amino Pattern) in my supplement list... • @RyanKHS06 weight gain supps- serious mass(instant bulking) , pro complex by ON(also quiet good) then just take protein shakes 3-4 times a day with creatine monohydrate.. you should see gains rapidly..

  • Why duz she have a computer in her kitchen?

  • Squats and milk bitches

  • @RyanKHS06 whey protein and monohydrate creatine are the most important in my opinion

  • I've done competitive bodybuilding and agree with everything she says

She does fail to mention steriods though - there is NO substitute for them to bulk up

  • Thanks a whoooole lot lady. rly appreciate this vid!!!

  • Dude why is the text taking up the whole screen.

  • WHAT WOULD U KNO U DONT EVEN HAVE A PENSI

  • im 16 and want to bulk up my chest and arms/abs. please give me some helpfull hints and tips to bulk up fast

  • @Zaharkl Steroids if you want it fast.

  • @bmxrider4ever k im gonna get some when high school starts again. thanks man

  • @Zaharkl Haha I'm not a weight lifter so I don't know any secrets I'm just going by what I learned in exercise science.

On the other hand my friend added about 30 pounds to himself by drinking milk right from the farm after about a month but that would only really work if you had access to farmers milk, store milk won't work.

  • @bmxrider4ever ya i have access but i dont like to drink milk. i dont like the taste. i can eat it with cereal tho

  • fuck the commercials

  • Se forgot a big big point kids .... RESTING ... you dont grow in the gym :] you tear your tissues in the gym, you repair when you sleep

Also I dont agree with heavy weights ... Form > Weights any day because with crap form, you aint working your targeted muscle.

    Here is the key:

Food + Lift well + Rest = Beast

  • Since my metabolism sucks ass, I'm working out 8 days a week!

  • @RayRox17 working out increases your metabolism, so if you already have a fast metabolism it will be sped up even more, and you will have to eat a fuck load of food.

  • how much did the suppliment industry pay you to read that off the sheet?

  • Haha I love how everyone is like Omg she is a chick she doesn't know what she is talking about... She is a fucking Dietitian she knows more about bulking up that half the retards who leave dumb comments on this video.

  • @ChristacularIsDead Exactly. It makes me laugh every time when dumb, ignorant motherfuckers think they know it all when they don't have a goddamn clue. Clearly, this woman knows what she is talking about. She's a DIETITIAN. Anyone who can't accept that has severe mental issues.

  • @ChristacularIsDead I can't add anything else to your statement......You said it all...

    Two thumbs up.!!!!!

  • girl knows what she's taking about...and 3 days a week is fine.. for everyone. ask the experts. not the bodybuilders.

  • this is a genius video for people like you

  • Remember she's talking about those who are slim and have fast metabolism's to only workout 3 days heavy and maybe a 4th for cardio.

  • what is a set?

  • @YABOYKANYE A set is like A box of eggs. Say there are 8 eggs in the box the number of eggs will be a rep or the number of times you lifted the weight. So each box will count as a set. So 8 eggs one box or 8 reps one set. And its doesn't have to 8 its can be any number you want it to be it can even be 18 as long as your getting the point and your having aa good workout. you get it now?

  • @YABOYKANYE each time you go to do your repetitions that is one set.

  • slow-acting protein b4 bed, or wake up to eat at 3 am. - WARNING. more than 3 regiments a week is likely overtraining
